List of Patrick M. Morgan's Reviews
He replaced both of my hips. I have recommended him to other friends who need hip replacement.
I never need a lot of hand holding. Dr. Morgan was easy to talk to, straight forward as to what my hip problem is and options to fix it. He took the time to do some teaching drawing a diagram, etc. I will have a hip replacement with him in a few months.
Knows What He Is Doing, And Does It Well.
I went with my daughter (age 22) today to see Dr. Morgan about hip reconstruction surgery for her. He told her there was only one surgery out there for her condition, it has a higher than average rate of complications and he wouldn't even consider operating until she lost at least 40 lbs. He said the only thing we could do right now was pain management and "there aren't many good options for that." He offered no advice about what we could do or where we could go from here. He wasn't overtly rude, but rather disinterested, patronizing and condescending; as if he were thinking about his upcoming golf game over the weekend instead of us sitting right in front of him. He has no compassion for someone living with chronic pain and was completely unhelpful. If anyone out there can recommend other doctors with his specialty, I would appreciate knowing about them. We've already talked to three doctors through Twin Cities Ortho, and now Dr. Morgan, and all of them were oddly disconnected from their patient, my daughter. Don't waste your time or money with this doctor.
Dr. Morgan is professional, calm, respectful, and very thorough. I had a left hip arthroscopy with him and could not be any happier with the entire build-up to the procedure and the results. I am truly grateful for him and his entire team! Dr. Morgan explained the problem and procedure in such great detail, I was fascinated and informed- he even took the time to put everything in language that I could easily understand. He did not force me or pressure me to get surgery and I appreciate that.
The rudest provider I have ever meet. Not helpful, constant eye rolling, did not listen to concerns, ordered injection incorrectly. I could go on and on. Wasted to office visits with him. Ended finding another provider how agreed I needed surgery asap. Had surgery and feeling better each day. Don't waste your time seeing this guy.
This doctor is the rudest guy I have ever met. He is not at all helpful. We will not ever step foot in this clinic again. He should not be in the helping field. It was a total waste of time and money and effort to see this guy.
He is a very arrogant person with very little compassion. He sat back in the chair wth his ankle over his knee and arms crossed. He acted so superior. He has a very poor bedside manner. I refused to go back
I found him to be very rude, condescending and uncompassionate . Poor "bedside" manner and very arrogant. I would never let him operate on me. He needs to take some classes in compassion. I would never recommend him to anyone. I have since found another surgeon who listened to me, was compassionate, even told me I was "tough" walking with my hip the way it was. My x-ray from TRIA showed that I was a candidate for hip replacement but unless I lost an ungodly amount of weight it wasn't going to happen. How do you lose weight when you are in such pain and can't walk or move much? No compassion. There's surgeons out there who will operate on you if you are overweight. Don't bother with this dr. he needs schooling on how to treat people, fat or thin. Unless you like feeling like crap when you leave the office. He made me feel so bad about myself that I cried when I left there. I will never go back, even though I had a great ortho dr there. I found someone new and I will stick with him. He got the job done and I'm walking again . I never once felt sad while under my new dr's care. He used the words "someone of your build". Never once saying fat, obese, or overweight. See, there's other words that you can use. We know we are fat, we don't have to be reminded of it. We are also fat for reasons you would never understand. Please get some schooling on compassion dr Morgan. Bottom line, I don't recommend him at all.
Post surgery, I have more than an inch discrepancy. Dr Morgan claims it is "perceived" regardless, I will have at least an intense year of physical therapy of which there is no clarity that my problem will resolve. Most LLD is less than a quarter inch. I have more than an inch. His response, "Surgery sucks."

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
