Just finished treatment for a dog bite which was treated by another Dr which became a serious infection was referred to Dr Varecka who was up to treating the infection and getting me back to normal. He and his staff did a marvelous job they were so professional from the time I checked into HCMC till the time I checked out and went home . If I was able to give out stars 5 would not be enough they deserve at least 9or 10 stars a great experience! Keep it going for you are doing great. Myron Helmbrecht

I have RA. Worst affected areas are hands/wrists. Dr. Varecha did surgery. Several days post-op, I landed back at the ER with staph & admitted with IV antibiotics treatment for about a week (no intended blame). Took Dr several days to show up. Bedside manner--extremely poor. Demeaning. Cannot in good conscience recommend if he is still practices. Go elsewhere.

I waited 45 minutes, he spent 10 minutes with me basically saying "Don't worry, it will probably go away. If you still want to have it removed (as I wanted to plan on THAT day), then come back and we'll talk about it..." A wasted visit in my view.

Dr. Varecka I believe is the best hand doctor in the country. He has rebuilt Both my wrists & has done Carpal surgery on both wrists. Today I'm pain free and my wrists work great. I have referred lots of people to him and everyone is very pleased at the out come. He is a Great Doctor we are lucky to have him in the minnesota area. Thanks Doc Tom Zamberletti :)

He saved my arm. I am forever grateful. I had a serious multiple fracture, dislocation of my elbow. It's almost as good as new now.
