List of William Lipham's Reviews
Find someone else. He appears pleasant but does unsatisfactory surgery. I went in for eyebrow ptosis, droopy brows had limited my vision. My face is now lobsided because one eye tilts up as a result of the surgery, the other does not because that surgery failed. Left a large fold of skin by one eye. Told me that since peripheral vision had improved to an extent he thought satisfactory that was it. Eyelids still slightly block top of pupils. I had not expected such dismissive treatment. I expected him to take responsibility for the obvious unevenness and deformity. My ophthalmologist is sending me for a second surgery that should not have been necessary.
I was referred by another plastic surgeon for eyebrow ptosis. Dr. Lipham seemed pleasant enough. Staff is good but his work was less than satisfactory. My eyes are lob-sided as a result of the surgery - one eye tilts up, the other does not and pupils are still slightly obstructed. He made it clear he felt what he had done was good enough. I will be having further surgery, obviously by a different surgeon, to correct the imbalance.
Gave me options and suggestions as to help me make a decision on surgery
Prompt, friendly and professional
MN Eye is the only place I will go to in the Twin Cities.
The clinic was very prepared for my visit….staff courteous and efficient.
Staff and DOC were great
Good explaining
Dr. Lipham inspected a small growth on my right eye following referral from an optician. He efficiently and knowledgeably explained the condition in both layman and clinical terms and assured me it did not require treatment or removal at this time. Dr. Lipham nevertheless recommended annual eye exams from an optician because of my age [72] and underlying vision conditions [early cataracts and early macular degeneration].
Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. Did not feel rushed to get done with appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
