John L Boone's Online Review Report Card

I have gone to Dr. Boone for years and been happy. He was local and convenient to where we lived and I had never been really sick. For some time off and on I have had abdominal pain which usually went away. I have discussed it with him and we assumed it was related to IBS issues. This October I went to him. The day I was there I was fine or so I thought. My blood work came back with some kidney issues that were quite abnormal. He contacted me that he was concerned and was going to contact a kidney dr. and get a second opinion. After a few days I began to have pain and felt terrible. I sent a message through the health portal asking if he ever got a second opinion. His nurse responded that he had sent a referral to a kidney dr. I wrote back that I did not know that and asked again if he spoken to anyone about my lab results for a second opinion like he said he would. She never wrote back and to this date in December I have not heard from them nor was I ever contacted about seeing a kidney dr. Meanwhile I was getting sicker and sicker. My husband who is a retired physician said it was time to be seen by someone else and through a friend we got an appointment with another dr at the Frist Clinic. I got in right away. She got lab reports back immediately and sent me for a CT Scan immediately and by that afternoon they admitted me in the hosp where I was in need of IV antibiotics and fluids. I wrote Dr. Boone again through the health portal and told them what happened and said I guess I fell through the cracks and no one ever got back with me. I still have not heard from either him or his nurse. needless to say I will not go back to him. He is good for every day and making referrals if you have time to wait. He is probably good for colds, flu, etc. beyond that I would look else where.

Dr Boone was extremely kind and professional. He did a thorough job while making my child feel comfortable and heard. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Boone is my son’s favorite doctor and that is saying a lot to please a three year old. He gets down on my son’s level and interacts with him to gain his trust. He takes the time to make his assessments interactive so my son gets well seen and has fun while doing it. His nursing staff interacts with the patients on a personal level. My son was really into rocks and the nurse was able to relate telling him how her and her son go to the north shore and pickup rocks too. Dr. Boone also takes the time to answer my many questions as a parent. I have been able to prevent seeing a doctor for at least three ear infections in the past eight months since getting ear tubes with my son. His bedside matter is fantastic. I would trust Dr. Boone with my care any day.

He screamed at her while she was crying. He seemed annoyed we were there to seek help. Overall, traumatic experience.

Absolutely loved Dr Boone. He was really Thorough and respectful to my 5 year old son and myself. I would recommend him 1,000 times!!! Very good experience!!!

Dr Boone was great! Very thorough with his exam and truly cares about his patients! He listened and answered all my questions and did not rush through the exam.

Very good experience. The DR was great to deal with and explained what was going on and what the next steps were. Very impressed so far.

Dr. Boone is excellent. I previously treated with Dr. Ayre, who did 2 sinus surgeries for me & he has since retired. I saw Dr.Boone for a surgical consult for a 3rd sinus surgery which it has been over 12 years since the last one. Dr. Boone was very detailed, patient orientated, takes time to answer questions & did a great job on my sinus surgery. I have already referred a friend to him. Thank You!

I got in early which is unusual for a doctors appointment. I was in for recurrent bloody noses. He got excellent topical anesthesia and cauterized the breeders, painless. He also found some wax in my right ear canal and removed it. Extremely happy with the Experience.
