I’ve seen Dr Schafer for several years and highly recommend him. While in Mexico I had a unique inflammation which caused me to lose most of my vision in one eye. He has cared for me ever since and I trust him completely.

I cannot begin to thank Dr. Schaefer enough for his quality and consistent care provided to me over the past 5 years. I first met with him for cataract surgery caused by an accident retina injury to my left eye. His comforting chair side manner and professional approach is impressive when I need a consultation. I have much faith in his abilities based upon the wonderful outcomes that I have experienced from his much appreciated care. I highly recommend Dr. Schaefer and his fellow associates at EdinaEye.

Dr. Schaefer did the YAG procedure on both my right and left eye. Very good and talked me thru the procedure, letting me know what he was doing and how far along he was. The next day my vision was already greatly improved. Now I am waiting for the floaters to settle. I would highly recommend him!!
