List of Allina Health Urgent Care- Champlin's Reviews
I had a terrible experience at this clinic and I won't be going back. The MA that took my vitals cursed at the computer and kept asking me over and over again why I was there. She doesn’t seem to like her job. The NP that I saw came into the room ready to argue and fight. She told me how it was and wouldn’t listen to my questions belittling me for asking questions. I went and spent a lot of money on over the counter medication and hoping that my condition won’t worsen into an ear infection although I have been suffering with this for 9 days. The NP just said well come back in 24-48 hours if your not better. Waste of time. The worst experience ever at any clinic.
All the staff at urgent care were amazing. From the front desk, the nurse, the x-ray tech and the doctor. They went above and beyond to answer questions and make sure our child was comfortable. The ability to check in before leaving home was an added perk as the wait time was about 3 hours.
Very nice yet very cold. Staff was great.
Great care with professional caring, staff.
The chain of urgent care they do have make it easy for people to get helped evenif the one near you is full
On Wednesday, November 8 I went to the urgent care at Allina Champlin Clinic. The urgent care opens at 2 PM. I arrived at 2:05 and I was already number 11 in line I needed to be seen for potential bladder infection. This type of appointment is pretty basic and shouldn’t take very long, however, I did not leave the clinic until 5:45 PM. I was able to drop off a urine sample pretty quickly after that I spent a very long time in the waiting room. I was finally taken back to a procedure room where I again waited a lengthy amount of time to be seen by the doctor. The doctor read the results of the urinalysis and determined I did indeed have a bladder infection. The doctor was concerned I might have a kidney infection so he sent me to the lab for a quick blood draw and determined I did not have a kidney infection he informed me he would send a prescription to the CVS pharmacy in Brooklyn Park I was able to finally leave the clinic. Unfortunately, by the time the prescription got sent, the pharmacy already closed because this CVS pharmacy closes at 7 PM so I couldn’t take the first dose of medication until Thursday morning. What little information I received about the wait time for the appointment came via text message, and those notifications were a few and far between. The best I could tell there was only one doctor available and the urgent care department. I would definitely not go back to Champlin Alina clinic for urgent care. Something needs to be changed at that location. To wait three hours to be checked for something as simple as a bladder infection seems ridiculous to me. The staff were certainly friendly, and the people waiting for their appointments for urgent care were patient, but they all waited as long as I did and it just was not a good thing.
This is not an Urgent Care. They say they can’t get google to update the name.
Why is Champlin urgent care closed?
Was waiting in line to check in and was 8 minutes late for an appointment and was told to reschedule. People who would rather refer you to an app to avoid as much person to person interaction as possible.
Staff and docs were awesome. Wait time sometimes is too long because there is only one provider working.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
