Timothy P. Culbert's Online Review Report Card

We have found Dr. Culbert to be very professional, attentive, and insightful about our child's needs. We appreciated his preference to initially try natural remedies before prescribing pharmaceuticals. We feel very confident that our child is under good care with Dr. Culbert and would recommend him to others without reservation.

We have seen Dr. Culbert for 3 years now to treat my son's ADHD. He has a good understanding of a variety of approaches and is conservative in his treatment. Our family would highly recommend him to others.

Saw him for almost 9 years 1-2 x a yr for around 5min a time to get a prescription for adhd, asks the same questions every time like where we live (check your notes) and to tell us he likes to ski in Colorado. Yesterday we made the 4.5 hour trip, called 20-30 min to say we were stuck on hwy from accident (40min) to walk into his office still within our "hour needed for that type of appointment" to be told we would need to reschedule. Said we would wait for a small opening, it's 5min he sees my kid and we drove 4.5 hours. She walked back into his office, (which I could only assume would be because he had no client yet or she wouldn't have bothered him, walked out and said he is booked that day and needs to leave by 4 and doesn't work tomorrow and we would need to come back another day. I will not be coming back any other day. I will say this, he always will have the brand new office, with his books displayed for purchase. Perhaps he is best suited to talk on television and not to real life patients.

I have driven my son 3.5-4.5 hours 2x a year for almost 9 years. Each visit he asks where we live, how long it takes, where he goes to school and tells us he likes to ski in Colorado. It takes 5 min. He hands us our controlled substance script and we leave. It is not convenient but I have less dr visits. Today I called there was an accident. He books out for an hour, has no patient tells the lady after walking into his office we would need to reschedule. Done.

Doctor spent little time with student and most of input came from parent. Never requested info from the school staff. When came back with eval from the school, he indicated based on our prior visits, I ruled that diagnosis out earlier and would not re-visit his previous diagnosis despite new info from new sources. Doctor was quick to call the child out in the meeting calling child "a liar" in negative sense and tone despite considering the challenges the child was having in school and the reason for telling stories to cover up missing assignments, etc. Created a tense relationship between the physician and the student causing the student never to open again the remainder of the visit. Overall a waste of time that never went beyond scratching the surface. Written reports sent which were not reviewed by his staff before sending - riddled with errors, references to prescriptions taken by another patient, etc.

I like the office is very nice and inviting, receptionist was nice but Dr. Tim Culbert is just the best, he is kind, he understand my daughter's needs and I think he is the best person I have ever meet, thank you for everything I will highly recommend him greatest doctor :D
