My first visit with Dr. Tan left me with confidence that my Healthcare and upcoming surgery was in the best hands. She took her time to explain very explicitly about my diagnosis, upcoming surgery, what to expect as well as possible treatments and complications. She was very thorough, kind and caring. Although I wish my health wouldn't have required this surgery, i highly recommend Dr. Tan to give me the best care possible.

Dr. Tan is brilliant. She leaves no stone unturned. Her compassion for her patients is outstanding. She is so down to Earth and explains every detail so the patient totally understands. She indicates for you to interrupt her if you do not understand or need to ask a question when she is explaining treatment to you. I am do glad she is in my corner cheering me on. Thank you Dr. Tan, for everything you do.

Dr. Tan terminated our doc/pt relationship after two years. It was a harsh blow and I was totally blindsided by it. Where is the compassion you talk about? I was finally getting adjusted to living with this cancer hanging over my head and now I feel that it has all started over from day one. But at this last impromptu meeting(was suppose to be a checkup) I was unprepared and unable to speek my thoughts because they caught me so offguard. They had it all prepared to get rid of me...just another number that was considered "troublesome" and replaceable in their book. So if I were a doc, lawyer or somebodies important wife would this termination still have happened?? I know in reality it would not have happened. On a side note...the office management is a mess, long waits for appts, calls go unanswered, long waits for someone to answer the phones....not what an ONCOLOGIST office should be like.
