List of Addie Vittorio's Reviews
Leaving a review so hopefully other patients don't have the same experience. I saw Dr. Vittorio as a 23 year old otherwise healthy adult. I explained to her that I'd been suffering with diarrhea daily for months on end, and she stated there was "really nothing we can do". She had no suggestions for me, and it was only after follow up appointments that she reluctantly referred me to have a colonoscopy. She comes off as condescending and that she does not care about your concerns.
She has always been openfriendly and explains fully on procedures and refers you to specialists when needed. I would definitely refer anyone to her. She is top notch
I am leaving this review in hopes that other female patients will seek care elsewhere. While I have nothing bad to say about the staff and clinic, Dr. Addie Vittorio (Licari) has terrible bedside manner. She was my primary for 2 years before I had enough of her rude mannerism and lack of compassion. I would highly recommend any of the other physicians at Mount Royal clinic besides her.
My husband and I went to see her for back to back appointments. I'm fairly healthy but he has a history of melanoma and needed a referral to a dermatologist in the area. She asked me a billion questions about my history, my family history, my habits, and then wrote up a diet plan for me because she thought I should lose weight. When it was my husband's turn she didn't ask any of the same questions, she just asked if he had any concerns at which point he asked for a referral to a dermatologist. I don't understand why I needed the third degree and he didn't get any care or attention. It was disheartening and we didn't return. We love our new primary over at Essentia.
I am adding to my previous review on Dec. 21, 2019. Because Addie Vittorio would not see my husband, he was seen at Essentia Healthcare ER, he was in considerable pain and he has an L2 fracture. He may need surgery in the future.
I would like to start by saying I very rarely leave poor reviews, but I want other people to know what they're getting into. After over 2 years of primary care with Dr. Vittorio (nee Licari) it has been nothing but pain. I came to her with back pain when I was about 19/20 currently 22 and she told me to lose weight because my stomach was stressing on my back. That might seem fair but I'm in my BMI at about 5'7 female at 170lbs. I tried to lose weight per her suggestion; the problem was that I was in so much back/hip pain I could hardly move! Mind you she didnt order imaging/PT nor bring it up after over two years of multiple visits. NEVER once did I mention pain meds in fact I said let's do anything but meds and still she brought nothing up (this was before I knew of these things of course but any dr should know this) Went somewhere else and xrays showed a stuck hip and 17 degree curve of my lower spine. Started treatment pain gone in a day. 2 years of suffering over her ego for nothin
My intact young son has now twice suffered forced retraction at the hands of Dr. Vittorio. This practice is outdated and ill-advised, and I am upset that I could not protect my son from this. Both times it happened before I even knew what she was doing, and my son told me later that it caused him pain. Beware. If you take your intact baby or toddler in to Dr. Vittorio, insist that he keep his diaper on or that she does not touch that area at all.
Dr. Addy Vittario, is a compassionate, caring doctor that will listen to all the patient 's concerns. She is willing to listen to you as long as it takes so that you will get your answers thru further exams, tests, or of she feels you need a specialist. I will be moving to the U.P. of Michigan but will continue to come back to Minnesota to have Dr.Vittario as my personal physician. I have a great deal of trust in her!
It can be hard changing doctors but this was seamless. Dr. Licari listened well, asking many questions and including me on the team. She never talked at me and she explained everything carefully. Her exam was thorough. I left feeling confident that we were on the right path managing my health care and hoping St. Luke’s will be able to keep her for many years. Thank you, Dr. Licari for your expertise, your time and your excellent communication skills.
Dr. Licari walked in with a chip on her shoulder. Sat down and told me about her previous patient being seen before me because of some scheduling reason blah blah and we will hurry because she is out of there for lunch at noon! She blamed me for being late, I was early. She claims she is not a hand holder and is a straight shooter, which is completely fine. But to place unnecessary blame on a patient because she may be late for lunch? Not to mention she showed little if any interest in me as a future patient. I hope St Luke’s does provide professional medical staff in their offices. I hope to never experience such unprofessional behavior again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
