I saw her briefly for infertility (IF). First she was convinced I had endometriosis before even performing a pelvic exam. She wanted to perform a laparoscopy. I went for a 2nd opinion from an expert outside Duluth where I was told that this was a terrible idea as it could damage ovaries. Other lowlights: failed to respond when notified of time sensitive info that led to treatment being delayed a month; spoke loudly about treatment plan to nurses in the hallway outside exam room with no concern for privacy; informed me when i was upset and crying that ‘maybe now is not the right time for me to have children’. At no time did this woman take a holistic look at my health history to determine why I couldn’t conceive. She just kept telling me I needed ivf and lazily pushed drugs and procedures to check the IF treatment boxes. I left and was able to heal my body with the help of providers who took the time to look at every aspect of my health. I now have a 6 month old conceived without ART.
