I was stunned to hear the words, grade four lung cancer. I never thought I'd need an oncologist and when I asked physicians and patients for suggestions, Dr. Alkaied was the name that surfaced the most. I consider myself blessed to have Dr. Alkaied managing my cancer. My husband and I are on this journey together and both, instantly felt more assured and relieved after meeting and planning with him. We were blown away when he called one evening, around 9 PM to go over the results of my cancer cell DNA test and what the treatment would be. It was reassuring to hear from him that he reviewed my case with colleagues at Mayo Clinic, as well as those in the Practice. It's been almost a year now that I've been on targeted therapy. My scans and lab test results look great - cancer is stable with no signs of further growth. I thank the Lord, every day that I have a super smart and caring physician. Dr. Alkaied has a spiritual way about his delivery. We are blessed.

He is an amazing doctor who actually cares about his patients. My dad saw doctors at Mayo and in Texas and hands down your not going to find anyone better then Dr Alkaied. I am one of those people who doesn’t care much for doctors but he has impressed me not only with his knowledge but with his kindness. He was by far the best doctor my dad saw. I can honestly say if I had cancer he is the only doctor I would entrust my life with.

Dr. Alkaied treated me with the utmost courtesy, respect, concern and professionalism throughout my illness & during all of my treatments. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of his field & goes above & beyond to treat his patients as if he was treating family. Without his expertise I probably wouldn't be here today. Dr. Alkaied takes time to talk with his patients & explains all aspects of treatment. I highly recommend him & his entire staff. He is an angel on earth disguised as a Doctor

Dr. Alkaied has been treating me for Metastatic Breast Cancer for three years. Dr. Alkaied treats me like I'm his only patient because for the time I'm with him, he gives me his full attention. Dr. Alkaied is kindly aggressive in his treatment of my cancer and his intense curiosity and desire to "fix things" probably saved my right leg from a world of hurt. He found cancer in the distal end of my right femur and immediately got the treatment ball rolling. He's a 5 star hero!
