DR Courville was very helpful and attentive to my injuries and care throughout the entire process. She answered any questions or concerns that I had. She seemed genuinely motivated to help me recover safely, while allowing me to find appropriate ways to stay active and strong along the way. DR Courville was positive and confident yet inquisitive, in her communication. She gave me confidence in her expertise and concern for my best recovery possible and return to athletic performance.

Dr Courville was first class. She was prepared on the first visit. She had a plan and then we did what was best for me. She always took the time to make sure I was comfortable with what was going on . Her follow up visits were always beneficial.She is a great asset to her patients and Essentia Health. Dr. Courville is a very skilled, compassionate and caring doctor. She explained in detail what was wrong and exactly how she was going to repair the damage. After care has been great! Her staff is professional as well as caring. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat!

Dr. Courville is after money, you don't have it or your insurance doesn't pay then she doesn't want anything to do with you. Actually said during a visit that is why she came to Duluth is because of the pay and couldn't get a job in the more metro-areas, wonder why? She is good for this area, but not the best. She protects others at the hospital at the patient's expense. Hopefully she gets out of medicine. Yeah, doens't like to talk to patients, very scared type personality.

Dr. Courville took care of me while working at the University of Utah Ortho Center. She was awesome. She truly listened and made sure you understand what is going on. Follow up is very important to her. Following and unexpected surgery (I was taken from the exam room to the O.R.) at the end of the day, Dr. Courville stayed until I was dressed and my ride was loading me in the vehicle to take me home despite the fact that there was a very qualified nurse there. She made sure I understood the what's and why's of the surgery, was comfortable, and had all I needed. She is also very intelligent. Finding Dr.'s who are both intelligent and have a professional yet empathetic bedside manner anymore is next to impossible but Dr. Courville is one of the few that is the real deal. I would highly recommend her!
