I had my knee replaced in 2015 and things went well. I was very happy with the outcome and with my interactions with Dr. Breien. I fell recently and broke femur my near the knee replacement. I went back to Summit and met with several people from Dr. Breien’s team for diagnosis, bracing and follow up. I met with Dr Breien last week and confirmed that my femur was healed and sent on for physical therapy to regain strength and stamina. Things went smoothly through all my interactions with Summit and I would recommend Dr. Breien and his team.

Dr. Breien is nothing short of fabulous! He has done four (4) surgeries on me and did an amazing job. He is friendly and personable, smiles a lot, and doesn't rush through appointments. The first time I saw him he looked at my knee (I was wearing shorts) as he entered the room and said, "You've got a big problem there." My previous doctor had seen me three times for this same thing and couldn't figure it out. Dr. Breien examined me, told me what was wrong and the options for fixing it. I was thrilled. He seems to know me on sight, which I appreciate, but I don't know how he keeps everyone straight in his mind. He stays up with current practice (refers to medical articles he's recently read) and techniques. He is a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled physician. I highly recommend him!!
