Pleasant doctor to work with and upfront...

Dr. Paul Langer and his team gave me excellent care. They were quick to see me, were friendly, professional, listened well and proposed a very practical, inexpensive treatment plan. I highly recommend them.

Went in as 61 year old runner trying to overcome the final stretch of plantar fasciitis caused by doing some ill-advised landscaping in bad shoes. Dr. Langer (a runner and cyclist) provided a couple additional foot yoga exercises, I had not tried. He also dug deep into the issue. How it happened? What I've been doing for treatment? What changes I should make to my self-treatment? What type of pain is okay to tolerate? How to find a good insert from a running store (which he will tweak for you as needed) What to do before jumping out of bed in the morning? He also recommended the shock therapy as an additional treatment option. I'll let the reader of this explore more on their own, but as the day went on, I started to feel the annoying remnants of PF begin to fade. The next day felt even better. The success rate is there. It still requires doing all the other self-treatment diligence, but already feeling better. Highly recommend.

I had seen another podiatrist two years ago for my foot pain with no results. Dr. Langer listened to me and asked questions. He suggested a simple modification in my shoe to try for pain relief and several shoe models that I should try. He explained his diagnosis and my foot seems to be responding. I would highly recommend Dr. Langer.

I would highly recommend Dr. Langer. He was a knowledgeable and empathetic listener, took time to listen to my concerns, addressed any questions I had, clearly explained my options for treatment with a description of what each would entail. He was able and offered to do a procedure in the office the same day to remove a toenail that had been injured for a long time. He also checked the underlying tissue to ensure there was no melanoma or other skin problem. He was busy but clearly took the time he needed with each patient without ever feeling rushed. Having worked for a doctor similar in demeanor, this was a sign of dedication to each patient. His staff from his scheduling coordinator, to nurse and tech staff were also very thorough. It was nice to see a doctor who was both very competent and showed a real interest and kindness toward his patients. I would definitely go back for future care, and would recommend Dr. Langer.

very comprehensive review of my complaint. New and up to date technology for making orthotics... also did some taping of my heel to provide relief on a temporary basis. Great suggestion for proper foot wear to relieve pain and heel plantar facitis.
