List of St. Paul Rheumatology's Reviews
I am shocked that masks are not required (nor worn by front reception staff) at this medical facility, especially since it is frequented by RA patients with compromised immune systems.
I love coming to the clinic! Dr. Gopal is a wonderful, caring and dedicated Doc. She really listened to me when I had concerns about certain meds that made my father really sick. Laura is an awesome infusion nurse too.
After months of going to numerous doctors appointments with no answers, I finally got some answers and I feel like I am on the path to feeling better. Thank you Dr Freire for taking the time to look over all my symptoms and helping me make a plan.
So glad I finally decided to come in and see a Rheumatologist. Friendliest staff. Dr. Gopal made me very comfortable. She explained everything very clearly. I most defiantly recommend to see her or anyone in her team.
I honestly wish I could give them zero stars. I felt very uncomfortable and upset by my appointment with Dr.Ridley. Dr. Ridley’s misuse of terms relating to African Americans were both inappropriate and TERRIBLY unprofessional and had absolutely NOTHING to do with my appointment. Following this appointment I submitted a patient grievance form and never heard back from the Clinic’s Manager.
Dr. Gopal and her entire team are very helpful, kind and thorough. I was impressed with Dr. Gopal. She was patient and listened to my concerns and asked questions to help us get started to figure out my situation. I felt heard and left feeling so much better and am looking forward to continuing treatment under her guidance and expertise.
I got a referral for Dr. David Ridley for blood work for a possible autoimmune condition. The entire experience was unprofessional and the doctor rushed me in and out of the meeting within 5 minutes. I left with a feeling of dread and a lacking explanation. I am trying to meet with another clinic.
Steer clear. David Ridley is a fast-talking snake oil salesman who misdiagnosed me and offered to prescribe me Hydroxychloroquine to "cure COVID" if I came down with it (how this came up when we were trying to diagnose back pain, I have no clue).
I have not seen a provider at St Paul Rheumatology in years, but thought it very important to get this information out there. I wish I could rate them a zero. I had many issues with this clinic but, by far the worst issue was while trying to get my injectable meds shipped to my home, they were sent to SPR instead, multiple times, due to a staff error. I went in, multiple times to collect my medication, a 30 minute drive, and was told my medication was given to another patient by mistake. This happened three times in a row, all while my meds should have been delivered to my home, not their office. When I called in to complain I was treated with complacency. And to make matters worse, the nurse I complained about then contacted my primary doctor and accused me of being a pain med seeker and asked for my primary doctors help in resolving the issue. Fortunately my primary doctor, who had been my doctor for 10 plus years looked into my chart and pharmacy records and found no evidence of me seeking pain medications, in fact, there had only been pain medications prescribed to me after surgery. My primary doctor asked me "Who did you piss off at SPR?" SPR Clinic is VERY VERY VERY unprofessional. They also falsified medical records by stating I was a pain med seeker. NEVER go there!
Wish I could rate this zero...The doctor here filled my own pain sheet like she knew interfered with other medical Services and tried to back me into a treatment that I didn't need...if you decide to visit here please don't request Moretta

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
