The dermatologist that took my biopsy highly recommended Dr. Economou for the excision of my melanomas. And how, was she ever right! First of all, he did an exceptional job in explaining how they were going to do the procedure from the medical imaging to the excision of the melanomas, to the biopsy of the discovered tendering lymph nodes. Then he calmly and positively told me that I was realistically looking at a better than 80% chance of success. He answered every question that I had, and didn't appear as if any that I asked were stupid. His team were well-trained and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Also, they showed a great deal of care for me. He in particular visited with me briefly after the surgery, checking if I had any pain and encouraging me that the surgery went very well. He also called me at home that evening making sure that I was okay, and again insured me that I was healing normally. I give he and his team 5 out of 5 for their care and skill.
