Helpful with my overall life and recovery.

I have 76 weeks of positive experiences with Nystrom Associates. Each visit has given me life lessons learned and made me a better person. The time invested is well worth it from treatment, 30 weeks, to mental therapy, 10 weeks, and the 52 week DBT SKILLS TRAINING, the penultimate jewel in the crown. Robert Christensen.

This review is for the Eden Prairie location of Nystrom & Associates. My therapist went above and beyond in supporting me in areas where my ARMHS workers could and would not. When I was being bullied with false accusations, my therapist with whom I had a prior year's worth of sessions would defend me and my character. It's sad when a therapist who sits in their office can provide more support and do more for their client than the ARMHS workers who ostensibly provides "hands-on" support. I was told by an ARMHS supervisor that my ARMHS workers could not testify on my behalf in any legal settings, which meant that my assigned ARMHS workers were okay with me being abused, bullied, stolen from, falsely accused, and illegally evicted without having to notify the authorities. The ARMHS program is worse than useless for those who are experiencing extreme circumstances and their lack of concern for my issues has resulted in an irrecoverable loss of trust in the service. I absolutely can not recommend the ARMHS program. However, my therapist's bedside manner is astounding and they deserve more PTO and a raise due to their passion and dedication to their clients' mental health.

It was difficult to get an appointment in person with someone at any of the branches near me, and as I result I opted for telehealth. That has its advantages! I've found the experience to be convenient and straightforward, and the therapist I've been working with is helpful.

I just wanted to Share that, it's been a long walk or road traveled. And With the correct Professionals in place, I finally have a glimmer of hope. I met my Arhms worker Joe in May. PRICELESS, BROUGHT ME BACK FROM MARS. GOT STRUCTURE IN MY DAYS. AND THAN RECENTLY MET BETH IN EDEN PRAIRIE. AND AM EXCITED TO START DAY TREATMENT NEXT WEEK. THEREFORE I CAN 1 DAY AT A TIME FIGURE OUT HOW TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE IN RECOVERY....

I'm a health care professional and retired healthcare provider. I survived severe domestic violence and my beloved psychologist from Penny George Health and Healing recommended additional help from Nystrom & Associates. My ARMHS worker, Kylia is the most outstandingly helpful and caring professional I've ever met! Their billing department (Sarah) goes beyond words to help with any financial difficulties! I met their new CEO and can see what a perfect fit he is for such a GREAT company this is! Anyone suffering or in need of mental health care is making a great and wise decision to hire this FULL SERVICE and COMPASSIONATE provider! I couldn't give a HIGHER recommendation for such a GREAT company this is! DO give them a call if you're shopping for a great team of wonderful people who truly CARE about their patients!

I've been seeing Dr. Eric Goad for close to 30 years. He provides excellent service. I also am impressed the folks who man the front desk..very helpful.

Dr. Sonya Schroeder is amazing. I appreciate her outstanding communication skills, the way she deals with difficult emotions, her understanding of psychological and social aspects of illness and illness behavior, and not just biologically-minded behavior. She has the ability to manage uncertainty. Humans are complex beings with unique patterns of experience and behavior, and, for that reason, mental illness can often evolve, with diagnoses changing as more information comes to light. Dr. Sonja Schroeder truly cares about her clients. I am thankful have Dr. Sonja Schroeder as my psychiatrist.

Dr Eric Goad is wonderful Dr. I'm very fortunate to be his patient. Please double his salary and don't let him ever retire!

As a 60+ year old, having tried therapy several times with different providers, my experience with Nystrom has been the most beneficial for me. I have established a comfortable and helpful relationship with my therapist which has lasted over 6 years. I highly recommend Nystrom and Associates to others looking for guidance and support for personal and substance abuse/addiction concerns.
