I also saw Dr. Benke at the maps in Edina, and had the same experience as the other patient. Neither Dr. Benke nor the PA that was in the room, Gelane Dinega, read the paperwork that I filled out, and neither of them seem to know what they were doing. In addition, they both seemed fake and not really interested in helping me. It was an extremely disappointing experience, and I won't go back there again

I saw Dr. Benke at MAPS in Edina for a consult due to long-term pain. First off, he had clearly not read my chart at all. He vigorously shook my injured hand twice, even after my explanation of how much pain I had. I had to explain my injury and past treatments to him. A PA was in the office for the visit, which I thought was odd, until I realized Dr. Benke had no idea what he was doing. He made light of my symptoms, and offered no information about available treatments or recommendations.
