Psychiatrist don’t care about you. They’ll ask you 50 questions and prescribe a bunch of drugs they’ve never taken and whatever their rep is pushing to them. Was prescribed two drugs and woke up and thought I was having a stroke. No nurse line at this office that answers their phone.

Phone communication is just horrible. Phone tree, can't get anyone, long wait for call backs. We had a good associate eventually but then trying to communicate is just awful.

If you need to get ahold of the nurse’s line, good luck. I called 4 times this week and each time sat on hold until the call disconnected. I even left two voicemails and never heard back. I am now without a medication for who knows how long simply because no one at Nystrom picks up the phone. This is not the first time this has happened to me and I’m sure it will not be the last. Other than that, I really do love my psychiatrist.

I love seeing Kimberly W. Every appointment I look forward to and enjoy in that weird way you enjoy therapy. I wish I found her sooner and I believe she is working well with me to get better. However, I have had very bad experiences with Nystrom the company and was about to leave before I got connected with her. Horrible patient communication in this place (I had been going in-person at the Maple Grove office but switched to telehealth only) and there's some pretty unprofessional therapists I wish I never met. But I've been going here for years so I've put up with it.

The psychiatrist Charles Saddar is absolutely wonderful. He is willing to work WITH his patients, listening to our needs, to find an appropriate care plan. He is kind and down to earth. Likewise, Mara the psychotherapist, is a great at working to find a rapport with her patients. She is encouraging yet challenges us to move forward with our goals.

I scheduled a number of appointments for therapy and told them that I travel all over the country for work, so I needed someone who could do appointments over the phone or video calls. They told me no problem. Three weeks later, the earliest appointment I could get, I got on the call and told them I was in Seattle. They immediately canceled the appointment because apparently talking on the phone with me would count as practicing in Washington, which they didn't have a license for. Why was this not disclosed when I told them I travel for work? And who would have been hurt if they just feigned ignorance? Did they think I was an undercover medical board inspector trying to discredit their staff? Extremely disappointed in my brief experience here, and I wasted three weeks that could have been spent finding someone who would actually work with me.
