William J Lee's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Lee is truly the most compassionate person doctor I have ever been to he takes the time to talk to you get to know you for who you are he does not pass judgement. He is very open with you and spends more them 10 minutes schedule time with you if it takes 25 minutes he will sit there and talk with you answer questions. He is a wonderful person he took a oath from is Heart to be the Best to provide the best care he can, it come from his Heart.

Dr. Lee came to Iowa. I had one visit. Before the second appointment, I received a call saying he was no longer coming back. After some time, I decided to make the trek to visit his clinic in MN. I loved his staff. During my second visit, I was told he was closing up shop in Blue Earth. Apparently he was heading north of the cities. They did facilitate a quick third appointment to have my case ready for submission to the insurance company. During that 3rd visit, he did not acknowledge my presence even though I stood DIRECTLY in front of him at the front desk and no other patients were there and the office staff was in a back office. What a disappointment. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. I am 100% satisfied with my new surgeon, his staff, the hospital, and my surgery!!!

He was not informative, I learned more information from fellow patients and other physicians than I did from him. Also my time spent with him was VERY LITTLE, he treated me like I was inferior and like he was doing me a favor by preforming this surgery. At my one week post op he discharged me for a full release, he didn't even see me or check on me. The release was in my file and I got it from a nurse!!! SAD!!!!

Always willing to fit you into a tight schedule when you need to be seen sooner than later.

Dr. Lee's expertise and caring ranks with the best of surgeons. Our family now travels over an hour to visit him if we need his services. Dr. Lee doesn't just operate when needed, but treats the whole person under his care. He is caring and involved with his patients, educating them and coaching them to achieve their goals. His office staff is exceptional in the care they provide.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lee and his staff.. Every nice people and make you feel like a person not a number. It has been 1 year 2 months since my surgery and when I call they still know who I am.. And are alway helpful and caring!!

I feel like a number just get em in get em out. Very little follow up. And I kinda get treated like I am stupid

I had tried so many things to lose weight and just could not do it and keep it off. I finally decided to try the lap band and I am here to tell you it is the absolute BEST thing I have ever done for myself. I didn't do this to impress people and show off, I did it so I could feel better about myself. I lost the amount of weight I wanted to and although not at the "ideal" goal weight according to todays charts, I am where I want to be and could not be happier. Dr. Lee and his staff were superb in making me feel welcome, feel successful and giving me ideas on what to do when I hit a snag. They are an amazing team and I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in succeeding.

Dr Lee is a awesome doctor. He was very caring and takes his time with you. His staff is top of the line. I would highly recommend Southern Minnesota Surgical, for General Surgery or Lap Band

When I met with "Dr" Lee. I felt like I was in trouble or that I had come to the wrong place. I did not feel welcome but just another slap for him to cut into. I don't know what it is about him but something just didn't seem right. I dread going to see him again but he is the only Lap band "Surgeon" in my area.
