The receptionist was not welcoming or warm, the lobby smelled very strong from a candle being burnt (not a problem for me but others are sensitive to fragrance… which shouldn’t be used in a medical setting anyway) and Dr. Michaels didn’t take the time to listen, they would cut my sentences off. The nurse was awesome, very friendly and informed me of what the visit would consist of. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone.

Liked Dr. Michaels! But waited over 30 minutes of my appointed time then had to ask the reception to check what was going on. Then sat in room for about 15 minutes. NO ONE CAME TO LET ME KNOW STATUS AT ANY TIME!. I know help is at a premium but two seconds to reassure a patient (new). Next time I will not wait. NOTHING AGAINST DR. MICHAELS!

I saw Dr. Michaels for 5 minutes or less, no exam done, and I was still charged $368 for a full new patient visit. Tried to negotiate a discount but no budging. I definitely will not be going back!

Dr. Michaels is straightforward in her examination and explanations. I appreciate that she starts with conservative treatments and listens carefully.

After looking for a urologist for a long time, I found Dr. Michaels. She is thorough in addressing your problems as well as easy to understand when she explains how to resolve your medical needs. As a woman, I feel more comfortable speaking with another woman when I talk about my urology problems. You can tell with Dr. Michaels that she truly cares about giving you the best medical care. I feel truly blessed that she is “in my corner”.

Dr Jodi Michaels is GREAT! She is so down-to-earth and explains to you all the details of your “issue”. She then lists your options with no pressure to choose but gives you logical explanations for each option. Love her! She previously found an issue in my bladder when I came for a different problem. She did surgery that time & I had a fantastic recovery!

From the vastly mixed reviews, it appears your experience and your care depend entirely on whether or not she likes you, whether she actually listens to you, what mood she is in on the day of your appointment and whether she wants to be "nice" to you. I was treated here and all my experiences were so terrible that I ended up leaving completely. My appointments had hour long waits, past my appointment time. Attitudey appointments, eye-rolls when I explained why I had the surgery I had, she loudly stated that my OBGYN did my surgery unnecessarily, in her opinion. My favorite was her telling me "oh, I don't give out narcotics for pain" I replied back that I was not seeking "narcotics" for pain, but I just had surgery two months prior, I was in complete agony and my healing and recovery was not going as expected. For her to immediately jump to that conclusion was totally unprofessional. I left there feeling worse than I did when I arrived (after waiting 6 weeks to get in) Never again.
