Definitely don't come here. Dirty place and nurses at nursing station/check in station pick and choose who gets seen over you even if you were waiting 1+ longer for something similar. Go anywhere else.

This happen last Tuesday, was there for 3 hours and I was very sick , I have asthma, they didn't even give me a neb or any prednisone. I was very congested, having problems breathing. They tested me for covid and he just have me tylenol and came in later and said tou have covid, take tylenol every 6. I said can't I get anything, he just said tylenol. The MD just walked out of the room. Crappy hospital. Allina has really went down hill.
The care was good as far as I can tell. They completed a thorough assessment of my issues, and even though they couldn't find the root of the problem, they gave me a referral and weren't dismissive of my issues so that was nice. The only issue i had was with the billing department. They sent double claims and double charges to my insurance company for one. For two, when insurance initially denied the claims due to a clerical issue on their side (they resolved the issue and started reprocessing the claims), I let the hospital know there would be a delay. They acknowledged receipt of my email, but then started harassing me with phone calls and mail threatening to put my bill into collections. I sent them an email telling them the bills could not go to collections due to the double charges and requested an itemized bill, to which I received no response. They continued harassing me with phone calls though. When insurance finished processing, they finally bothered responding to my email with a "claim went through, balance $0." No apology or even acknowledgment. I tried sending a complaint through their online form, to which I received no response. If you go to this hospital and have any technical insurance issues, expect a nightmare with your claims.
The place is busy, but that is to be expected, I can tell you they will take care of you and fix you up. Everyone who helped me was super nice and answered any questions I had. Definitely don't go thinking you are going to walk in and be first. I had a few people come in after me and went back 1st, but I am sure they had something worse going on than what I did.
Had to take my daughter there, twice within 48 hours. Both times we were seen quickly and our concerns were addressed. Thankful to have this ER close by.
10 minuet estimation turns to 4 hours of sitting while others go through like a revolving door. After asking if anything is going to happen we’re just told “you can go to another hospital”. Needless to say we were not helped. If you have no intention of looking after a patient make that clear up front. I’ve heard stories of this place being racist, guess they’re true if everyone a few shades darker have to constantly remind the staff that they’re waiting for help.
I had the worst experience today at that hospital. The dumbest doctor ever met in my life and.
Just great !!
Seriously the worst set up if I could give negative stars I would .. If you can go somewhere else GO FAST!! Ob/gyn tells patient to go get ultrasound in ER cuz they dunno if its ectopic or what's going on after doing labs every 3 or 4 days the last 3 weeks and have yet to ha e patient see a doctor there .. Get to ER .. Register, sit in waiting room, triage where ultrasound is ordered, sit in waiting room, labs drawn, sit in waiting room, ask how much longer, transport shows up & says it will be an hour for results to find out if patient is losing baby or possibly having a rupture .. We have been here for almost 4 hours!!! And have not made much progress at all .. I knew I should have taken her elsewhere .. Sad that things here haven't improved over the years - will not go to either Mercy facilities again!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
