Derek Beyer's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Derek Beyer stepped in to deliver my twins over a weekend when my regular doctor had told me last minute he was going out of town. He did AMAZING! One of the babies was breech. Our birth plan was to turn him after baby A came out and do an emergency C-section if needed. I can imagine that’s a lot of pressure on a doctor! Baby B did not turn but came out breech. I now have two healthy six-year-old boys, thanks to Dr. Beyer. I will forever have respect in my heart for him.

We finally became pregnant with our first baby after several years of trying and selected Dr Beyer to provide our care and it was the best decision we made. He talked to us in a way that we understood the answers to our questions. He was very personable and genuinely cared about our concerns and fears. He always made time in his immensely busy schedule if there was ever a time when I had a panic attack. I pray he never leaves the area because we will definitely continue with him for our care.

My experience yielded unfavorable results. Found him to be cruel and dishonest. Thought that didn't matter as long as he was medically competent... Had enough of him and found him to be not only socially incompetent, but walking a thin line to being medically incompetent as well.

The greatest Ob/gyn I've ever seen. Very thorough and attentive. I've been suffering with chronic abdominal pain for years and he was the first to talk about endometriosis. He did the laparoscopic surgery to diagnose and sure enough I had it. I plan on having him as my Ob when I have my second child and when I decide to have a hysterectomy. I felt very comfortable with Dr Beyer.

He's a new doctor at the local hospital here. But he recently performed surgery on an aquintance to remove an ovarian cyst located on the left side. He ended up knicking her appendix which was located on the right side. When she called him to inform him that she was feeling I'll she was dismissed as to just be dealing with the healing process. She continued to feel worse so she sought out medical care at another location to which she was informed that her appendix had been knicked and was leaking fluid. She was also told that it was probably her appendix that had been the problem in the first place and not a cyst. And after reading reviews on this man, I'm even more convinced of his unprofessional ism and carelessness!

He is a good doctor overall...respectful, caring, and experienced.

It was the worst experience I've ever had to sit through. When he was examining my lady parts, he said very innapropriate jokes that made me feel uncomfortable. Then when he spread my labia apart he continued to ask if he could, "enter" me. Overall, very bad!

Masacred my cervix during a LEEP procedure and now left me with infertility and incompetent cervix... of which I am now paying 1,000's of $$$ for fertility treatments.... My fertility Doctor says he had no idea what he was doing and a LEEP should not take more than a few minutes...
