List of Andrew Ockuly's Reviews
Andy has been so caring throughout the year starting with the surgery and the entire recovery!
Dr. Ockuly is an excellent physician. He walked me thru all options with a complete explanation of each procedure, aftercare, all facets of each procedure and possible results. He listened to my concerns and answered all questions. We then moved forward with a plan and it has vastly improved my life. Thank you.
I highly recommend Dr. Ockuly and the team at TCO. My son had to have his MPFL in his left knee reconstructed and TCO has been with us every step of the way - literally. The TCO trainer had to pop his patella back into place on the field and then worked with us to get an initial doctor examination scheduled, a referral to Dr. Ockuly for surgery, and now they are managing his current rehab to get him back on the field this summer. The entire process has been seamless and the treatment and communication channels have been excellent. My son's recovery is going better than expected and I'm grateful to Dr. Ockuly and so many others at TCO for the care he has received.
My first visit to a new Dr. went extremely well from introductions to care and results. The doctors team was spot on. This doctor is smooth in a caring & sharing style. His team follows his style. He is our doctor going forward for both me & my husband.
After the latest snow fall, I fell on concealed ice and was in a lot of pain. I was going to try and tuff it out but later decided I’d better get it checked out. I was thinking of going to an Urgent Care but my wife recommended Twin Cities Orthopedics Urgent Care in Vadnais Heights because it was their specialty. It was a great choice ! ! That day was their busiest ever (I wasn’t the only one falling today) but they still got me in and diagnosed the issue. Dr. Ockuly was and has been just great. He takes his time to explain what is going on, what will happen next and of course a plan to follow. All the rest of the staff were great as well: Front Counter, PA’s, X-Ray staff and of course the clinical team (sorry if I left anyone out). Thank you for all the care you provided. If you find yourself in need of a bone, joint, ligament, tendon or muscle specialist, Twin Cities Orthopedics is a great choice.
Dr. Ockuly is a highly skilled surgeon and a caring person. I recommend him to anyone with knee pain.
He was so reassuring and kind - feel very confident in his treatment
Excellent care and very helpful advice for Dr. Ockuly. The front desk staff had very good customer service! Thank you
Knowledgeable, compassionate, and didn’t push surgery first. I will definitely be referring patients to him.
After seeing a doctor at my clinic, getting no diagnosis or relief after 2 weeks, I went to see Dr. Ockluy for shoulder pain. First visit, he did x-rays and saw nothing and said to do PT, a ndvif not better in 2 weeks, to come back. Second visit, he seemed puzzled but referred me back to sports med doc at clinic. Still no better and couldn't even do PT because of loss of range of motion and pain. Sports med doc did an in-office ultrasound, which revealed multiple rotator cuff tears and bicep tendonitis. Maybe a diagnosis at the start of this would have kept me from doing more damage by going to PT, where I was instructed to do pulling with my arm (which I was told not to do by sports med). I really thought a shoulder specialist would diagnose what was wrong, not just send me in circles. Isn't that what specialists do?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
