I recently had a follow-up office visit with Dr. Anthony Polcari, MD, my urologist at MN Urology. I had had radiation therapy for prostate cancer over the summer, and this was my first meeting with him since the treatment concluded. Of course, there are only good things to say about an office visit which begins with the wonderful news that there was no detectable trace of the PSA in my post-radiation blood draw! But as we discussed my treatment going forward and addressed questions I had about my treatment thus far, I once again appreciated Dr. Polcari's compassion, professional expertise and dedication, humanness, and respect. The word "urology" strikes fear and dread in most men's hearts, but I have always been grateful and impressed by the dignity and sensitivity with which Dr. Polcari dispenses his treatments and care. He is not just a skilled urologist but a good and genuine person as well. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Anthony Polcari as my urologist.
