I had mis-read my appt. time on my calendar so my wife and I arrived at 12:45 thinking my appt was at 1:00 pm. At registration, the woman told me my appt was at 11:00 a,m. rather that 1:00 p.m. However she went back to talk with staff to see if Dr. Meyer could "squeeze" us in. She came back with the answer that they could but it might not be until 2 p.m. We decided to wait, staff was able to see us closer to 1:30 and we were done seeing Dr. Meyer by 2:15 with both my wife and I being examined, explained treatment options and eventually choosing to have joint injections. We really appreciated the entire staff working with us to be able to see and be treated byDr. Meyer since we had driven quite a way (85 miles) to see him when it was my error in the first place. We really appreciated what they all did for us. By the way, our sore joints are currently much better.

Dr Nicholas J. Meyer is an incredibly knowledgeable hand specialist! He genuinely cares about you and listens very carefully to your concerns. When he discusses possible treatments, it's in layman's terms and he makes sure he has answered all of your questions. He is extremely kind and compassionate, especially when injecting cortisone shots into your finger joints. I highly recommend him and his team. They are the Best!! I just received cortisone injections in two finger joints on each hand. I did exactly what he suggested for swelling and pain and the next morning those four joints felt fantastic!

My experience with Dr. Meyer was excellent. He is always able to treat or explain the problem I have with my arm or shoulder. Yesterday he explained why I would need surgery on my arm to take out the hardware fro previous surgery. He also noticed my thumb and suggested surgery on it.

Dr. Meyer diagnosed my wrist pain as carpel tunnel. He gave me a cortisone shot and the pain has subsided. I appreciated his quick and decisive diagnoses
