Thomas Comfort seemed fairly judgmental and callus. He claimed my injury did not require surgery and that I will heal “good enough”. I am not an elite athlete, but I lead an active lifestyle and we love hiking This did not feel right. I was fortunate to have other consults scheduled. The next surgeon I was scheduled with was very pleasant. He was more interested in fixing the problem and getting me back to 100%. The Dr said he did not want me to feel rushed, but when my chart came across for his surgery consult he had blocked off time the following week and said time was fairly critical. That aligned with what I had heard from other medical staff and Physical Therapists. Therefore, I cannot recommend Dr Comfort. as a surgeon.

Call for a follow-up and due some discomfort issues in the area. Easy to setup an appointment. Minimal wait time, both in reception and in the treatment room. Got several x-rays that were quickly uploaded. The Doctor and his associate arrived fairly quickly. We reviewed the x-rays, discussed my muscle issue and its connection to recent snow shoveling. No issue with the x-rays and the surgery site. Suggested stretching before shoveling and if the discomfort occurred again to try to get in closer to the occurrence.
