10/10 will NEVER recommend this place. Not only was it OBVIOUS the ER doctor did not want to be there, she didn’t do anything to help. She took two tests, both came back negative and sent me on my way. SHE USED HER PHONE TO CHECK MY SORE THROAT, claimed there’s nothing there. I got home, i have white spots on my tonsils that my FIANCE could see. She didn’t care if i left feeling better, she just wanted me gone. I left that ER, 4 hours in, feeling worse than when i came in.

Good place to come to die I guess because they don’t fight real hard to keep you alive unless you’re a money maker for them. We couldn’t even get a response from my mothers primary provider. We waited and messaged him repeatedly only to get no response EVER from him. We received no answers on what was going on with my mother and in the end brought her home to die. Once we declined hip surgery (which they said she likely wouldn’t survive) they offered no help with her condition, and no real answers on what was going on with her. We were basically told if we wanted her home she needed to go on hospice so she could get a bed brought to the house , so we agreed. No one made it sound like she would be dying in a few days or rapidly declining or why that was happening or if any of it could have been treated or prevented. We were literally given no answers. At that point our main concern was getting her back home with us which we did. We can’t help but feel guilty we didn’t move her to a better equipped facility. The nurses here are however amazing!! It’s the doctors and on call ER physicians that are lacking. I would suggest just going to Alexandria for emergency care if you have a choice or ask to be transferred there. We will always regret not doing that.

Refuse to hire more staff, it isn't really a hospital. If you go here, for any reason, you will have to go to the ER. Even if it is serious you will need to wait a long time to see whomever they refer you to.

Went to ER...nobody else was there, very quiet. Sat and waited almost 45 minutes...no Dr .. nothing. . pathetic! Got up and left. Will be going to Alex.

Always had problems with this place. My biggest one was on Jan 1st 2020 a family member of mine was in the ER and no one woke her up for her lunch. Might sound stupid, but she needs to eat and I would like her to have warm inviting food. Not be cold for when she wakes up.
