Tara Denke's Online Review Report Card

She performed an unconsented procedure on me when I asked her not to twice. She has poor bedside manner and doesn't listen to her patients.

Dr. Denke has performed my two surgeries over the past few years. She is a wonderful doctor who has much improved my quality of life. She has gone above and beyond to make herself available and gave the most amazing follow up care each time. Dr. Denke is not only a true expert in her profession but she also has so much enthusiasm and dedication to her occupation. It is refreshing to see such as skilled and practiced physician who still loves what she does. Dr. Denke is very caring and easy to talk with. She is excellent at explaining things and supporting her patients informed decisions. To give an idea of Dr. Denke's value to my healthcare: since my primary just moved overseas, she is currently the only reason i am staying with this provider.

Do not waste your time. Find another provider who respects you and listens to your concerns. I was told by Dr. Taylor, who was in surgery, to present to the clinic right away because of spotting in the late second trimester. Dr. Denke’s demeanor the moment she entered the room presented as though I was wasting her time. She cut me off, minimized my symptoms, and provided no medical analysis regarding my condition. In fact, she criticized my inability to maintain eye contact with her while I was fighting back tears following her condescending remarks and not feeling heard. I broke down and began sobbing because of confusion and frustration. She left the room abruptly and never came back. I passed her in the hall on my way out; she did not acknowledge my presence. To make things worse, she was the on call doc at the hospital when I had severe abdominal cramping; she never even entered my room and discharged me without seeing and/or talking to me. I am not one to go to the doctor often but I hope sharing my experiences can spare someone else.

I saw Dr Denke when my OB was out of town. I wasn't really impressed with her. She didn't seem confident, she was awkward, avoided eye contact. It was my last appointment before I delivered so I had a lot of questions, and she didn't answer any of them well.

I would recommend other OB/GYNs over Dr. Denke. She is knowledgeable but her bedside manner is awkward and she has trouble making eye contact. I could have overlooked these things because I did feel she was knowledgeable but, ultimately, I lost faith in her after an unexpected later pregnancy loss. She didn't check up on me after the loss and she lacked compassion for what we were going through.

I ABSOLUTLEY loved Dr. Denke it has been hard moving away and had to miss my first yearly exam with her :( I am healthy so I didn't have to see her for much but my yearly exams and she always knew me! So kind and real.

I consider myself blessed to have had Dr. Denke with me through my pregnancy and birth of my first child Braeden. She was always calm, professional and knowledgable, at every appointment. It was also really important to me that she takes great care of herself. When I see someone who doesn't take care of themself, it makes me question how they can take good care of me. She was always very professional and neat looking. When it came time for Braeden to arrive into the world I was happy to have her by my side, especially when things didn't go as planned. I wound up needing a c-section and I thank GOD she was my doctor. She was very calm and nice through the whole process. The best part though was my incision - it was perfect and I had no problems afterwards. Even the nurses commented on how perfect th incision looked and one even commented on how much of a perfectionist Dr. Denke is, so it was no surprise to her that it was perfect. And the incision (15 months later) is nearly invisible. I highly recommend Dr. Denke.

Save your time and wait to get in with one of the other physicians. I needed to be seen after an ER visit and now I still have to be seen as she was ...
