Dr. Johnson was very friendly and had a very soothing manner. After 3 appointments, we found out my situation was complicated so Dr. Johnson quickly referred me to exactly the right specialist. My only complaint was with the moment he told me that I didn’t have a simple ear infection and that I would need a CT scan to find out which scary thing was wrong with my ear. He was already walking toward the door as he said ‘CT scan’ and one foot was through he door as he said ‘schedule.’ Wait, What? A moment ago I thought I was fine and now we’re talking about scans and surgery? I was clearly nervous about getting the scan, and I started asking him questions as he ushered me from the exam room and toward the front desk. He didn’t slow down to answer my questions or explain what was going on. He didn’t list any of the things the scan might reveal. That last 30 seconds racing out the door should have been a 2-minute seated conversation.

Dr. Johnson was one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He was professional, caring (called me at least three times after a sinusplasty to see how I was doing) and personable. Patiently answered questions and listened to my concerns. His staff also responsive and nice.

I had a fish bone stuck in my throat and had to go to the ER three days ago. The nasopharyngoscopic experience was painful and traumatizing. I still experienced symptoms so went to see Dr Johnson this afternoon. He also did a nasopharyngoscopy on me. I hardly felt anything, and I am very sensitive to pain and get anxious easily. That’s how good he is. He has referred me to see a gastroenterologist. Hopefully, that will take care of it. Dr Johnson is very gentle and highly skilled! Thanks!

I think the best thing I could say to describe my experience with Dr. Johnson is to say that I had complete trust in him almost immediately. He is a professional and helped me through a difficult surgery and a recovery with complications. He was compassionate and patient with me throughout. Highly recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone!
