I met with Dr. Altafullah who was paid on behalf of a previous employer to write off my diagnosis of PTSD so that they would not need to pay worker's comp. He was incredibly dismissive of my experience and the impacts it has had on my life thus far. I do not feel like he was qualified to make this determination. He is incredibly unethical to accept payment on behalf of a company so that they would save money. It is doctors like him that continue to fuel the growing mistrust within the medical field. Instead of looking at me as a human being and listening to my experience, he simply dismissed it because the almighty dollar is more important in his eyes. I strongly urge you not to see this person given his questionable morals and ethics. He also spoke about his upcoming exams in front of me. He was upset one was cancelled and asked his nurse "well I'm still getting paid right?".

My Daughter was treated by him after a catastrophic stroke. Another Doctor wanted to pull the plug on her, but Dr. Altafullah was able to help her. It’s been 4 yrs since the stroke. She is doing well and living a good life. I am thankful to him. He is busy but he is a Brilliant Doctor and he is able to mult-task. There is a shortage of practitioners in that field they have to consult with other hospitals and doctors and do more than one thing at a time. i highly recommend him!

Dr Altafullah treated me 10 years ago. He was excellent. He is patient, and compassionate. He directs the Stroke center at North Memorial. The staff loves him. Other Doctors that I have seen since he took care of me say I got the best care from him. I wouldn’t hesitate to see him again.

Texted doing interview. Not once but twice. While doing his testing, I was told to walk a white line, while he turned his back to me and washed his hands. Just a W/C paid doctor...(worker comp)

i saw this doctor after someone rearended me in an auto accident. i saw this doctor for probably less than an hour, yet he wrote a very detailed report for the insurance company! he then proceded to re-write all the other doctors reports into his report! 18 years later and i still feel my spine everyday!! i have damage to c3 c4 c5 c6 and t7! it is pretty obvious to me that this doctors works for the insurance companies! i was the victim of a crime!

My 36 year old husband had a stroke and Dr. Altafullah gave him TPA to dissolve it asap. My husband had very little residual from his stroke and we really liked Dr. Altafullah's care and follow up.
