Dr. Lori Weinberg was my mother’s oncologist. The first day we met her I had suggested a book to her called “How To Starve Cancer”. I had the hook with me and asked her if she would like yo read it. She told me that she didn’t have time to read it. She is strictly a chemo prescriber. She does not look outside of the box at all. Once my mother’s chemo stopped working she told her to go home and call hospice. We decided as a family that we would wait to do so and that I would bring my mom to my house and care for her with nutrition. I needed to take FMLA at work and Dr. Weinberg refused to sign my FMLA paperwork because my mom was no longer getting treatments from her. It was absolutely disgusting the way my mother was completely disregarded after chemo stopped working. I would not recommend Dr. Weinberg or MN Oncology

I would highly recommend Dr. Weinberg for her knowledge of ovarian cancer. She always takes time to explain questions no matter how long it takes. Compassionate and caring.

Dr Weinberg took seriously evidence presented on scans and blood test results and immediately scheduled surgery to remove the tumor and related tissue. Surgery and recovery went well. Due to stage of my cancer, she recommended aggressive treatment plan. Palliative care made it tolerable and I was able to maintain weight and remain active. After first series of treatments she authorized follow-up treatment to postpone recurrence of cancer. I am grateful for care provided by Dr W and the team.
