Dr. johnson it’s a very nice person with good bedside manner is. He was unable to determine what the growth is on my hand because it is spreading. I understand the reasons behind his decision at this time but may need to see him in the future

I was referred from my PCP. I was unaware I was being scheduled in an urgent care. I thought I’d be getting a 30minute appt to get questions answered and get some help with the pain I was dealing with. My appt was at 10:30 and I was not seen by the physician until 11:20(which normally I would not mind since I’m in the medical field) but he spent 10 minutes with me gave me a cortisone then the appt was over. Over all disappointing appt after dealing with pain in both hands for months. The most positive thing I can say is the reception/MA’s or nurses were great and very kind. But I was not given the time of day by the doctor.

Dr Michael Johnson & his Team were very professional, friendly & thorough. Dr Johnson explained what was going on & my different options in detail. He also let me know the treatment was my choice. He & his assistant we’re very considerate & helpful when they gave me my injections. I told them & I tell anyone asking about my Orthopedic care that I love TCO!

After suffering a torn and displaced labrum, tearing my bicep, and fracturing my shoulder in a ski mountaineering accident, Dr. Johnson surgically repaired my shoulder, resetting the labrum, removing a bone fragment from my shoulder socket, and repairing my bicep. Given the severity and complexity of the injury, the pre-surgical prognosis was a hope to regain most, but not all, use of the shoulder. The surgery was tremendously successfully. One year later, I have regained nearly 100% range of motion and my strength is returning. Dr. Johnson did a truly remarkable job.

My experience with doctor “Mike” H. Johnson at Twin Cities Orthopedic has been such stand out care in the best ways possible, Each and every staff member I encountered in my journey was not only knowledgeable and proficient in the area of expertise I needed them to be, but also provided a level of care that felt so genuine and personal. I felt like I was seen very much as an individual and not as just another name or number. Dr. Johnson has a very humble and personal-able demeanor in his approach with patients, with that said, his knowledge and expertise was abundantly clear and this provided the much needed reassurance and comfort any person in my situation would be hoping for. Not only did I feel my care was in great hands with Dr. Johnson, I also felt the very abundantly clear passion he has for helping and caring for people. I felt my care plan was immediately a priority and both the doctor and his care team immediately went into action to rearrange there days and schedules to allow for the time to perform the procedure I was in need of as soon as possible. I’m still in awe of just how much him and his team immediately jumped into action to get my care plan in place as soon as possible. These obvious efforts stretched from him, to his care team whom spent a significant portion of time on the phone with my insurance company in order to get the prior authorization required for my procedure to be possible the following day. It felt like everyone was so determined in making the care I needed a priority and possible. In a very, for a lack of a better word, crumby and unfortunate incident that occurred requiring the need to be seen by TCO, I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better experience thus far. My expectations have been beyond exceeded and there’s no other team of people i would have rather had my care in the hands of. Thank you Twin Cities Orthopedic, thank you each and every person who contributed to my care… and a very special thanks to the incredible doctor and his spectacular abilities!! I can’t fully articulate the high level of care I’ve received with TCO. Every single step of the way It has without a doubt been the most pleasant medical experience I’ve ever received. The receptionist begins the high level of care and efficiency, followed by every other single interaction I’ve had the privilege to have. It doesn’t matter which type of care ( urgent care, clinic, the operating room, post op therapy) every person involved in my journey had the goal of prioritizing and coordinating a better quality of life for me which included a very thorough and thought out post op plan for me. Anna has proven to be an amazingly passionate and thorough hand therapist! Every aspect of my experience with TCO could be best described as a “well oiled machine” but that doesn’t begin to give enough credit to the genuine care of the staff. AMAZING, I couldn’t rate or recommend another group of medical professionals more than this team of individuals for orthopedic care.

And I will add that my insurance company tried to claim that despite not having any functionality of my arm due to the high impact of my injury, without examining me they tried to claim I needed physical therapy first. Dr, Johnson helped get the insurance company to understand the significance of the injury and need for immediate surgical intervention.

I had reverse right shoulder replacement a year ago, long story short, I've had the same pain in the same spot on the back side of my shoulder. I told my therapist and Dr. Johnson way back when and recently told him again and both times he said he didn't know why I was having pain. So I see Dr Johnson for about 10 minutes and he prescribed me a cream for pain, I go to pick it up and it was over-the-counter!! Seriously. If I was a Dr seeing a patient, I would want to know what's causing the pain. Kind of felt like a rotating door. Waste of time and money.

Excellent surgery experience

I LOOOOOOOOOVE Dr. Michael H. Johnson! I was scared to death to have surgery (rotator cuff and other damage to shoulder) as I had heard horror stories of the pain and long recovery involved with it. But I had heard about Johnson's amazing surgical skills and set up an appointment. I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I am now 2 weeks out from the surgery and have had very little pain at all (and used very few of the pain meds I was given) and my range of motion is really good already. Johnson's skills as a surgeon are complemented by his quirky fabulous sense of humor, which really helped the entire process. I only wish I had more injuries I could bring him to fix! GO TO DR. JOHNSON! He is the best!!!

I was impressed with Dr. Michael Johnson with his realistic and practical advice. He will conduct a procedure on my finger soon. I was very happy. B. Tyler
