My 80 year old father saw Dr. Dorland because he was hearing voices. She did a bunch of neurological tests, ordered an MRI and then put him through a painful lumbar puncture. After all the tests she basically shrugged and said there was nothing she could do for him. 2 years later we discovered he had Dementia. If she had correctly diagnosed him he could have taken medication to slow down the process.
