I was hit on the employers driver door from a distracted driver going over 45mph, my head smashed against the window. I went to see this guy, he asked me if I drink whiskey, how much whiskey do I drink. Well I didn’t drink whiskey, but comp denied claims for head injury

So far our family has experienced the same frustrations with Dr. Kelkar's office that others described: lack of empathy of office staff, ineptness in setting up follow-up appointments, delays in treatments that are critical. I would not recommend this office.

I've been seeing Dr. Kelkar for help with a rare neurological disorder. He patiently worked with me to determine how to best treat my condition, and identified a treatment that has improved my condition tremendously over the past year. Thanks to Dr Kelkar, I am much better!

Terrible first experience with a neurologist. Not personable or friendly. No answers or follow-up recommendation. Will never go back!

Dr. Kelkar saw my husband the other day. He took a lot of time with us and is very motivated to find answers. We appreciate his diligence and knowledge. He was very kind and thorough and is not afraid to order whatever tests are necessary.

Unprepared and uninterested in helping my Mom. He obviously had not reviewed our chart or test results prior to our visit nor given any thought into what the cause of symptoms could be. Dismissive and rude. Had to call front desk multiple times to get a response and follow up appointments set.

I saw this physician and was completely angry when I left. The physician dismissed me as soon as I started talking. He had absolutely zero time or compassion. I have been experiencing severe facial nerve pain without any known reason. To top it off this clinic will not let you see a different provider if you are unhappy with who you saw!! Not exactly quality customer service. I guess you have to like who you saw or forget it! I switched to Noran Clinic! This provider is horrible!

Dr. Kelkar is one of those exceedingly bright doctors who, in spite of that, does not talk down to you. He is professional but friendly and willing to explain options, show and explain test results. While he makes recommendations, he also allows you to have some say in your care. He didn't beat around the bush about my MS diagnosis - which I appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Kelkar. One advisory, your appointments with him likely won't start right on time. But the lake view at the Golden Valley office is beautiful and relaxing, and once you do get in to see him, your time won't feel rushed. Personally, I am fine with that.

I was very nervous about the apt. He was great! I thought I would get the feeling that he knew everything and I knew nothing. He wasn't like that at all! Very down to earth. We asked a lot of questions and he made sure we understood the answers. Very smart man!

He had his mind made up before he saw me. Not responsive. Not communicative. Not aware of advances in sleep disorders and their relationship to non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's.
