List of Stefano Sinicropi's Reviews
Dr. Sinicropi performed a 'very aggressive' back surgery on my 79 year old father, which was a contributing factor to his death months later. After being in the hospital near death for 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks of rehab, we met again with Dr. Sinicropi (who did not reach out once). After less than 15 minutes and no tests/scans of his own, he wanted to schedule another surgery 'within weeks.' My father passed not long after. I would not trust Dr. Sinicropi, but if you do see him, I strongly encourage getting a second opinion. It may save your life or the life or a loved one. - Ryan Edlefsen 4/16/2022
I am 2.5 years out of a Anterior and Posterior Cervical Fusion C4-7 Decompression. Posterior was due to nerve compression 4 days post op ACDF. NOT planned and posterior surgery was painful! I still have intermittent problems swallowing, my voice has not returned to normal and I get hoarse frequently. Per my pain Dr, I was dependent on a narcotics and went through withdrawals because PA Guth tapered me off the ER morphine but not Dilaudid! I still have headaches. Diagnosed w/ central sensitization syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic migraines since surgery. Dr Sinicropi and his team could slow down, be kinder and listen. A neurosurgeon I consulted a year prior to surgery, “wishes he would’ve been able to see me again before I had had my fusions so that he could’ve tried to talk to talk me out of the surgery”. He said “I feel terrible about what happened to you.” Surgeons don’t have to cut and this is a prime example of a great surgeon!
Perfect personal experiences surgeon he treats his patients with a understanding and listen to them. He helps to get down to the issue thatd affecting the patient life and fixes it. This man is wonderful surgeon and doctor.
Amazing surgeon.
Less pain one day after surgery than I had been living with for 8 miserable years. Sinicropi and team did a great job. Currently 2 months post surgery.
Dr. Sinicropi in my opinion is at the top of his game. Currently 3 weeks out of surgery. My pain is considerably less than before surgery. If you want someone to coddle you this isn’t the guy, if you want an expert in the spine field you found him. This is a dream come true so far. This was my second surgery and my first one with a different Doctor was a failure.
I wrote a LONG explanation of why this person is a charlatin. But docs control healthcare-even the review process It's a JOKE. The foxes.ckntrol the henhouse. Just stay away from Dr SIN and you will suffer far far less
I have known, and worked with Dr. Sinicropi since my first back issue in September of 2006. He knew right away what my problem was and diagnosed me almost instantly, and had the medical management course of action to take right then. Because of the severity of my Degenerative Disc Disease in my lower lumbar spine, it was inevitable that I'd be having surgery someday. We worked as long as we could together, with the help of his PA, Jacob Guth over the years, while a Medical Student myself, to try and manage the condition as I was studying and traveling for school. I had such severe damage (after re-herniating my 2 discs so many times) and even some boney changes taking place, that surgery was the only choice left for me. I was devastated, because of my age and future of my life, but they were so supportive and helped me through it. All of the office staff, and nurses were always so good to me. The inevitable day came, last April 27th, 2017. I had to have Anterior and Posterior Lumbar Spine Disc Fusion of L4-L5 and L5-S1, with Pelvic Fixation, Bilaterally. Recovery is tough and challenging with a major operation such as this; but I am almost a year post-op now, and my life has been given back to me, and I am like a new person. I am finally pain free, all of my old symptoms are gone, and I am finally back to all of my normal activities. Dr. Sinicropi and his team have given me my life back, no joke. As a new Medical Graduate and wanting to have a full Healthcare career myself, I literally thought my life was over. I am better than I have ever been, and I have absolutely no limitations to what I can do. It's been life changing and altering, and I would use Dr. Sinicropi again in a heart beat - he is so good at his job and does such a phenomenal job of repairing and fixing these spinal orthopedic issues. I highly recommend you make an appointment to see him and his Care Team, if you are experiencing any spinal / disc issues. They will take great care of you!
To make a long story short.... I Never once meet Dr. Sinicropi. I only seen his assistant Matt. With all the times I went he had all my past records, etc. I told him the same thing every time where the pain was. Maybe in the room 10-15 mins. Finally I asked for testing. He ordered a shoulder MRI then ordered an injection. Pain has always been in my Back shoulder Blade and Neck. So go to have the 1st injection ended up I argued with the Doc doing it as it was not the correct injection I thought ws going to be done. Turns out they did the Wrong injection, then another order same issue But I spoke with that doctor and found out so much more. I am SO disappointed in ALL the time and Insurance $ Wasted at this office. Even tho I heard good about this Doctor I would not refer anyone to that clinic.
I have not seen Dr. since surgery. PA has cancelled follow up appointments, day of appointment. Surgery is not fusing after 9 months and it was verified by another Dr. thru CT Scan, which was never requested by Dr. Sinicropi's office. I have learned that the ordered X-rays to monitor bone fusing by Dr. Sinicropi's practice DOES NOT show if bones are fusing. Also cadaver bone was used, opposed to live bone for my surgery which lowers the chance of successful bone fusion.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
