I have had 2 stones removed by Dr Portis. Prompt appt and surgery scheduled promptly as well. Very professional and informative. Extremely well qualified with very surgical volume. One star ratings with no additional information is worthless. Caviat, I am a physician and value him as a colleague.

He was great and did everything perfect - only one minor complaint is that he didn’t come and see me after the surgery to see how I was. I know he is busy but a quick pop in after would have been great!

Prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Portis, I was having surgeries every year for kidney stones (9 or 10 years). In the 5 or 6 years I've been with him, I've had 2. The one I initially went in for, and one additional while we were figuring out medications. He's proactive, thorough, and doesn't mess around. Appointments are easily obtained and wait times are short. If you need surgery, you're usually in pretty darn quick too. Can't say enough about how he's helped me.
