Diane S Ogren's Online Review Report Card

I recently saw Dr Ogren after a diagnosis of breast cancer to plan a lumpectomy. She was patient and respectful of my questions. Her care was kind and thoughtful and specific to me and my specific diagnosis not the cookie cutter approach of many. I was most impressed by the regard her collegues ( other Drs, nurses etc) had for her. I would highly recommend her.

I was excepted as a new patient right away. Consultation went well. Surgery was scheduled within 2 weeks. Surgery went well. Dr Ogren was professional and caring.

I was in shock when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. After a series of tests, I met with Dr. Ogren. I went in the meeting depressed and worried but came out feeling confident that the cancer is treatable. She explained what to expect from the mastectomy and what the remaining course of treatment would be. The surgery was scheduled speedily. Dr. Ogren called on the phone before and after the surgery. I was confident that Dr. Ogren would do a great job, and she did. I am grateful that Dr. Ogren was my surgeon.

Dr Ogren performed a hernia surgery on my husband- when the surgery was over she came out and explained everything to me. While in recovery the nurses were exceptional. I highly recommend Dr Ogren

Dr. Ogren is a straight shooter and to the point. She spent ample time with me in the clinic and a few minutes with me in the hospital post surgery. She followed up with me by phone on two different occasions which I didn't expect. Once pre-surgery (mastectomy) to make doubly sure I was comfortable with my decision and to again discuss options. Once three weeks post surgery to check on my well being. Very professional at all times but I truly felt that she cared about my outcome.

A very relational doctor that is thorough and straightforward with my cancer diagnosis. She performed two excision surgeries on me and I felt fully confident that I was in good hands...which made me feel relaxed because I trusted her. I felt her care and concern for me as a person (and stranger to her, really) was genuine.

When I was in the hospital and did not feel like I was ready to go home, felt she was more worried about the statistic for robotic surgery then me as a patient. I was not her patient, she must have been the Dr. on for the weekend. She was very abrupt. I would not recommend her to my family or friends. Her bedside manner was awful......................

Dr. Ogren always took time, whether in person or over the phone, to explain results and procedures, to answer questions, and to listen to concerns. She went above and beyond by consulting colleagues, seeking additional information and helping me with difficult decisions. The most important consideration, though, was her exemplary work as a surgeon. She is the reason I did not choose Mayo in the end.
