I have had multiple eye exams with Dr. Tsai. He is highly professional and provides excellent information. I will continue to use him as my ophthalmologist. The staff is also highly professional and friendly starting with check-in.

Exemplary surgeon! Dr. Tsai is a skilled and very knowledgeable physician. He takes time to answer questions and does not rush through information and options. His pre-op, surgery and post-op team were all an amazing care team. I felt taken care of and "safe".

Dr. Tsai has been my "eye doctor" for 30 years and has always watched my eyes as I have aged (77 years old now). I have worn glasses now for over 35 years and have progressed from single lens to trifocals during this time. Cataracts have been a concern of mine but Dr. Tsai always said "not yet". The last visit he said it may be time and gave me all the options from new glasses to surgery including intro-optical implants. I chose the implants with much fear of problems but having had both eyes done in January I can say my eyesight is better now than it has been for over 40 years and I am FREE of glasses, even for reading the small print in the newspaper.I am completely happy I have trusted Dr Tsai all these years.

Dr. Tsai preformed cataract surgery on me a few weeks ago. The outcome could not have been any better. I found Dr. Tsai to be thorough and highly professional. He and the team Athena St. Paul Eye Clinic took the time to explain each step in the examination and per operative process and answer all my questions. The post operative plan was well organized and communicated.

I have been seeing Dr. Tsai for about 15 years. Each time I go, he listens and answers all my questions. He did both of my cataract surgeries with very positive results. He did so well that my 90 year old neighbor got his courage up to finally take care of his cataracts. My neighbor had numerous questions and Dr. Tsai patiently explained each part of the procedure and what to expect. My neighbor had almost waited too long but Dr. Tsai skillfully removed the thick cataracts and my neighbor regained his eyesight. He went from hardly being able to see for a very long time, to being able to read the newspaper again. This was an incredible outcome for him and greatly improved his quality of life. I appreciate Dr. Tsai for his skills and the way he cares about his patients.

Dr. Tsai performed cataract removal and glaucoma (istent injection) surgery on both my eyes at the St Paul Eye Surgery Center at its Woodbury Surgery Center. I could not be more pleased with the results and the treatment provided by the clinic's entire staff. I was out of surgery within 20 minutes, had no pain or other side effects. Both nights after surgery Dr Tsai called to see how I was doing. I now have the best vision I ever had in my life and highly recommend Dr Tsai. I am 77 years old and had been wearing eyeglasses for 60 years.

The entire surgery procedure were very smoothly and took very short time. I felt very comfortable. Now my both sights improved a lot. I have been seeing Dr. Tsai for over 10 years now and even with the pandemic he is still there doing the Great work and care for his patients. It is difficult to give a professional doctor a one star, but I am speechless after a laser iridotomy for narrow angles. I was given no information regarding complications. It has been two years and my vision is seriously damaged. I have severe dysphotopsias every waking moment, which have significantly changed my quality of life. Positioning of the laser, not providing information and other factors are detrimental factors to weigh while providing this service to patients. My biggest regret is sitting down in that office that day. Gather all information regarding this procedure, weigh the pros and cons and please find a different ophthalmologist to perform the procedure.
