This provider never took the time to meet with his patient at all; disregarded a request to have further inquiry done with the patient's primary care physician; spoke with a disrespectful raised tone which was very unprofessional; conveyed an attitude of arrogance and lacked any empathy or curiosity about the patient. His decision was immediately disregarded by the doctor called in for a second opinion and deemed a very dangerous and poor choice of action.

Dr Wahlstrom was rude, unprofessional and made very poor decisions regarding my father's care. The second opinion doctor confirmed that dr. Wahlstrom's assessment was incorrect and potentially quite harmful. He raised his tone to me on the phone when I inquired about options for my father's care and was dismissive and disrespectful. I would never recommend him to anyone. He never took the time to every speak with my father at all.

Our experience with this doctor was very poor. He did not meet with my father prior to making a decision about his viability for surgery. He planned to send my father home with a condition which was dangerous and put him in undue risk for further complications. His manner was rude and unprofessional. I had colon cancer and Dr. Wahlstrom couldn't have been more considerate and caring. He went the extra mile to put a team together on two days notice to perform surgery. He was informative, caring, and courteous.

I really felt like Dr. Wahlstrom listened to me and spent the time with me to make sure I understood his recommendations for surgery. His team was also available for questions at any time and returned my phone calls in a very timely fashion. He gave a great recommendation on which direction to go with surgery based on my children's age and recovery time. I felt like I was in good hands and would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and knowledgeable general surgeon.

Dr Wahlstrom has absolutely no bedside manner. He made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him. I would not take my dogs to him let alone recommend to anyone I cared about or even liked.
