List of Laure J Waschbusch's Reviews
I went to Dr. Waschbusch for a removal and replacement of an IUD. This was my third IUD placement, and by far the best experience. Dr. WaschBusch was considerate and I appreciate that she told me what she would do before going forward. This action was very thoughtful given my anxiety during the procedure.
Dr W was overall professional and really made an effort to make sure I felt heard and seen. However, her approach to medicine is very old school and very focused on getting people in and out of the door as opposed to working with them to find long term solutions to their problems outside of lifelong medication. She did make one offhand comment about my fertility that was very unprofessional and frankly inconsiderate. Overall I felt like she didn't take me or my health as seriously or with genuine care -- and I also won't be returning to MN Women's Care either as they are INCREDIBLY disorganized, don't take thorough notes, and contradict each other all over the place.
I liked that Dr. Waschbusch listened carefully and asked relevant questions. The course of action seems logical and she explained everything well. The office seems well run and everyone was friendly.
Dr. Waschbusch answers questions well and has a great bedside manner.
Dr. Waschbusch is amazing! She is kind and compassionate. It’s like sitting with a friend when I go for my appointments
It was my first time to visit Minnesota women’s care . What a good experience oh wow ?? DR Waschbusch she was so awesome I felt so relaxed and comfortable.
Dr. Waschbusch is an excellent provider who is current on the latest recommendations for women in their child-bearing or menopausal years. She is very personable and honest and I trust her judgment.

I went to see Dr. Washburn for polycystic ovarian syndrome at age 52. I have a very complex medical history & other underlying health conditions and she didn't want to take time to see how my PCOS might fit in with my other problems. She never really took time to listen to me and brushed off my concerns and questions. She changed by method of birth control which caused me to have random bleeding and wouldn't do anything about it. When I had a month if heavy bleeding and a possible ruptured ovarian cyst, her office couldn't get me in to see her until almost two weeks later. When I finally saw her, she said she wishes that I had told the office the severity of my situation and she would have had me come in and fitted me in her schedule. I replied that I called back twice and asked to see if that could be done and was told it could not. She also performed a very painful procedure that actually caused me to scream and pain and she did not seem concerned about it. Instead she scolded me for tensing up and when I told her I thought it was going to throw up from the pain, she told me not to.when the procedure was over I was left shaking mess on the exam table clutching my guts. I asked her a couple of questions and she just seemed annoyed about them and then I had to remind her that I needed to have blood work done to check my hormone levels. she had completely forgotten to have it done and it wouldn't have gotten done if I hadn't mentioned it. She also failed to ever take into consideration or treat any possible insulin resistance I may have from my polycystic ovarian syndrome. I warn everyone to stay away from her.
Was needing to establish a new gynecologist after relocating to MN. Dr Waschbusch was on my insurance and highly rated on several sites. The online appointment process was very easy. Medical history forms were emailed to me for ease of completion prior to arrival. Easy access to parking directly outside the MN Women’s Care Center in Maplewood. Reception staff very pleasant and professional. Wait time was minimal with only one other patient in waiting room. Both the staff who brought me back for check in and Dr Waschbusch were very personable and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Waschbusch took time to get to know me a bit before the exam. I did not feel rushed and felt that she was willing to discuss any concerns I may have had. I was also due for my mammogram. This location has 2D & 3D mammography available on-site. Even though I had not previously set up the appointment, they were able to fit me in then. I highly recommen this facility and Dr Waschbusch.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
