they kick you to the curb to keep their so called good name and that’s a fact! I started school got a job time management became a little issue for me just trying to keep up with important things in life something they don’t teach at all is life skills but expected me to figure out life on my own the moment I disengaged in group and chose to focus on my recovery in life itself and not in their program they dropped me like a hot potato

I went to northstar behavioral health cranberry acres location in 2019 and graduated . I have been in long term recovery since and have met goals in mu life i never thought possible , northstar gave me the encouragement and hope that i needed to be successful and i would recommend the program to anyone who is seeking long term recovery that continues after graduation .

Worst company I’ve ever worked for and I’ve seen deal with clients that are not white. Definitely find a better company to work for or seek treatment. They are always dysfunctional trying to figure out ways to grow the company and instead of focusing on figuring out ways to make their programming better. It’s not diverse staffing so they’re not really good with handling others that have not grown up in the aspect that they have. Anyone that has anything to say that it’s not praising them they figure out how to get rid of them instead of actually listening to their opinions.

The Cranberry Acres location should be shut down until they find a qualified director. She boasts about popping valium to her clients, gossips from client to client, and is running what could be a great treatment into the ground. The environment there is completely chaotic and unsafe physically as well as emotionally. Staff are dropping like flies and clients are having to jump into physical fights to help! Kathy ( the "director") does NOTHING to keep the women there safe. She reminds me of a delusional dictator!! I just hope no one gets hurt before they get rid of her😕

I went to their women's inpatient treatment, then to their intensive outpatient treatment with lodging. The outpatient treatment was a joke. The councilors didn't do anything to help their clients. All we did was color and watch stupid movies. And at the end of it all I was still homeless and without a stable living environment. Once your insurance doesn't cover you anymore Northstar will wash their hands of you, period. Do yourself a favor and go to a different treatment program, at least for the outpatient part of it.

So excited for this to be in our community. We’re gonna help save so many lives ❤️ Can’t wait 🙂

Honestly if it wasn't for Northstar I probably wouldn't be here today writing this. Currently I'm living in sobering living and attending outpatient so for the one that said nobody ever graduate the program must have there facts wrong. I would say at least 60% of clients finish the program. I wasn't sure about the 90 day program but staff and the clients made my stay the best it could be. Never had issues with staff. Emily ,the head counselor was awesome.made sure everything was setup and ready for when I completed treatment. The technicians always made sure we got anything we needed, especially Tony, he was always helpful and had good things to say. He even came in on my last day to say goodbye (which was a day he had called in sick with the flu) the only thing I feel like most clients had a issue with was Transportation,which I can say improved tons by the end of my stay. I know everyone's stay is going to be different but It is what you make it .
