Had a Tilt Table Test at the HCMC lab with a very competent technician. After the results were in, had a follow-up consult with Dr. Loavenbruck. He could not have been kinder and more patient in explaining the results and treatment options. He wrote a letter explaining what life with POTS is like that could be used for disability benefits. After years of being told nothing was wrong, Dr. Loavenbruck was a breath of fresh air.

This guy is awful. First time I met him he called me a liar, and I was astonished. I couldn't imagine what was going on in his head. By the end of the appt. he had backtracked, and so I let it go and figured he was having a bad day. But then on another visit, he started in on me again, this time stating he thought I had psychiatric issues rather than medical ones. Clearly, this guy is a rotten doctor. I was seeing him to follow up on pathogenic genes I tested positive for by a medical grade genetics company in the U.S. These genes cause a particular neuromuscular disorder, and he told me he needed to do an EMG as a first step, even though the disorder does not cause EMG abnormalities. In his write up, he lied and stated he was testing me for a completely different kind of disorder. I don't know what is wrong with this guy, buy I won't see him again to find out.
