My sister went here for mental health treatment. They treat their patients like they are prisoners. How is anyone with depression supposed to recover when all they do is lock them in a concrete room all day and have to nurse check in on them once a day where they rate their feelings on a scale? I have paper records of what they do to their patients in there and trust me this is not the place to go to if you want to recover from mental health issues. My sister ended up passing away. Maybe if she was given proper treatment from this facility rather than being locked up in a cell it would’ve been a different outcome. She wasn’t a crazy schizophrenic person she only had depression and this facility can’t even help with that.

Terrible. They either ate or gave the food my parents brought in to other people WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and I know for fact because my parents brought in a full box of cereal and when I saw them open it and dig through it without the use of gloves with their bare hands, I refused. I then asked again for a bowl of cereal just to check and see if it was full and sure enough, a good amount of it was gone. THEY ARE THIEVES. This was special diet food for me that was approved by the state of Minnesota. Whoever did this should be facing criminal charges. DO NOT GO HERE. Also, they will try to keep you for as long as they possibly can and do not make their ruleset clear as to how to get back home.

Always excellent providers and quality of service is exceptional. I am now on my 3rd provider. Front end staff is great too as are the nurses and nursing assistants.

I met my best and longest friend here back in the 90’s. I always had great success ordering the cottage cheese and fruit plate - it was very healthy and also delicious. They also let my mom bring me McDonald’s and my friends dad got to bring her mcdonalds too. We still hang out and in fact, we’re writing this review together because we feel our experience should be documented. We’ve come a long way, thanks to abbott and our magical friendship. I highly recommend if you need help or just need a friend, Abbott is lit - and if you’re here involuntarily, on a 72 hour hold, it’s not so bad - you got this. We got through it - you will too.

They have been holding my little sister against her and my familys will. She was transferred from mercy on Friday morning only to be told she would be forced to stay till tuesday. No one from the patient care reps office will get back to us or take us seriously. Oh and apparently weekends don't count towards your hold time but they still force you to stay and abide by thier rules and pay to be there mind you. They have lied to her and not even allowed her to speak to a Psychologist or psychiatrist.

Never take you're family members here. The worse facility ever. The staff are bad manners and treat the family horribly. Contact Health and Regulations if you have any issues! The worst facility ever for my daughter! Disgusting doctors that can't diagnose people properly. They have issues themselves. I don't really know who gave these People a license to practice.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hospital. They make excuses about being understaffed and apologize, but at the same time treat you worse than a street dog.

Would not recommend. My son's body hung in his room for 8 to 10 hours without any staff checking on him. Falsified shift notes to say that they had checked on him. In contradiction to what the medical examiner found and was told. They didn't notify me my son died until over three hours, after the same medical examiner badgered them into doing so. Though he had made several comments about suicide and it stated several times in his medical records that he was a danger to himself and others, he was not nor ever was placed on suicide watch. My sympathy goes out to the cleaning person that discovered my son's body. A DHS investigation found that the hospital and staff were negligent but nothing ever came of it. As far as I am aware all of the staff still work their. So I highly recommend seeking help elsewhere.

I can honestly say that the staff and care provided is amazing. Everyone genuinely cares about your mental health and well-being. They REALLY listen to your concerns and your needs and really put the human back in humanity. Also the food is awesome
