List of Gary D Berman Md's Reviews
The suite number on their address on Google is wrong (it says suite 1, they will tell you it is suite 1149), and they were strangely rude about it when I let them know. Weird.
Dr. Berman did not seem to want to listen or understand the issues I have been going though. It seemed as though he had made a prognosis in the first minute of meeting me, and was set on it even though he hadn’t gotten to hear the entire description of my allergies. It was hard to even get a word in, as he interrupted more than anything. I do not think I got to say everything I wanted to say, which is disappointing. It was honestly a very unprofessional visit overall, with him at one point yelling at the nurse down the hallway with the door wide open. All the while I’m sitting on the table in a gown with my naked back in full view. I walked away from the appointment with more questions than answers, feeling uncomfortable, confused and judged. And the best part, he gave me a prescription which I couldn’t even get because he didn’t fill out the prescription order form correctly. Do not recommend. Waste of time. Waste of money. Will be going to another allergist who actually cares.
Dr. Berman is an incredible doctor. He has helped diagnose things for me (thyroid issues, pre-eclampsia) that even other physicians have missed. He really listens to the patient and genuinely wants the best for them. I see him for both allergy-related items and headaches (migraines). I feel really lucky to have him as a caregiver on my healthcare journey.
One of the worst medical appointments I have had. Didn't listen and ridiculed me. Pushed allergy testing when I have lived with my allergies all my life. When I asked what I would gain from the testing, I was told that he would know what I was allergic to, what drugs to take and what to avoid. I know these things! Why would I risk my life with this testing to do what I am already doing? Why would I lie about my allergies to cats, horses, and dust? What would I gain from that? When I asked if these tests could help with my urticaria I was told that came from dog's shedding problem?!? My non-shedding 9 pound Poodle? The urticaria I have had for 40 years is caused by my non-shedding dog I have had for 10 years. Then Dr. Berman accused me of not telling him anything so he wasn't able to treat me. To prove he was smarter than me he wrote me the prescription "you want" for a drug that had been discontinued. Save your time and co-pay.
Highly recommend
I have been seeing Dr. Berman for almost 20 years. I have found him to always be professional and understanding. My initial appointment was for asthma but when he learned that I had been experiencing frequent headaches, he addressed that concern as well. I wish he was my Primary.
If I'm looking for pity I'll call my mom, a solution I call Dr. Berman's office. That said, I've always felt genuinely cared for by this professional and highly competent doctor in the treatment of my asthma and migraines. I don't find him arrogant at all as some have stated. I find him confident and he obviously know his stuff, nothing wrong and everything right with that. I don't need my wrong ideas or ignorance sympathized with to get better I need to humbly appreciate the solid truth and good recommendations of one who can actually help me and Dr. Berman has.
Dr. Berman was incredibly arrogant and did not listen at all to my concerns or look over my medical history. I started to count the number of times he rolled his eyes, openly laughed at me, or made derogatory comments. I canceled any follow up visits with him and will be looking for another clinic.
Dr. Berman is a through and helpful. He's kind of a just the facts guy. He's good at what he does. I went yesterday and he was in a very good mood.
Dr Berman is a very caring and through. He takes time and treats each patient like an individual.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
