I had been dealing with GI issues for over a year, increasing with episodes and pain leading up to my referral to Dr Matlock February 2013. He was/is one of a handful of providers who took earnest time to evaluate my situation. I have been a patient of his since. He continues to be honest with me about the circumstances around my unique condition (no fix, but symptoms can be managed)and providing honest empathetic care. I am beyond grateful

I highly recommend Dr. Matlock. He took the time to listen and cared about my problems. He was the first Doctor in 20 months that found my intestinal problems. He ordered the proper tests to find my problem. He made me feel that my concerns mattered and he was going to help me. Thank You Dr. Matlock.

A colonoscopy is supposed to be one of the things in life that gives a person some piece of mind. Unfortunately, my latest colonoscopy was the worst experience of my life. I have had a colonoscopy before so I knew what to expect. Some unpleasant prep work followed by some mild discomfort. I got through the prep work with no problem but the actual procedure resulted in excruciating pain. I did not feel completely sedated.
