Dr Short was my sons surgeon for an emergency appendectomy this week. In an urgent and a bit surreal situation, he was calm, professional, friendly, made sure all of our questions were answered before and after, and just great bedside manner to both the patient and parent! I was very thankful it was him on duty ! Everything went smooth and well in the surgery. I would highly recommend him based off our experience!

Our newborn wasn't even a month old when we found out she had pyloric stenosis. I had never even heard of that before. The pediatric team at Children's hospital was so overwhelmingly wonderful every step of the way. The entire team from the nurses that got us our room to the anesthesiologist and the surgeon Dr. Short himself was very knowledgeable and understanding. Everyone there at Children's was supportive and I had complete confidence our baby was in good hands. A very caring staff.
