Dr. Thurmes is kind, compassionate and caring. I began my trip with him diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer and am now cancer free. He researched my type of cancer and set me up with a treatment plan designed to attack my tumors and set me on the road to recovery. He never sugarcoated the situation but was kind and gentle in the delivery of any news. The staff at Minnesota Oncology also should be acknowledged. They are fabulous. I’m always greeted with a friendly smile and look forward to seeing them for my follow up care. I would very highly recommend Dr. Thumes. I know he saved my life and I and my family will be eternally grateful to him! He’s brilliant!
