Yes he did
Minnesota Oncology is the best place to get treatment for an auto immune disease. Dr. Larsen treated my near death sentence of aplastic anemia back to a full recovery at age 75. Dr. Larsen worked with my Mayo doctor, and General Practitioner, to collectively work to heal me from the aplastic anemia. It was a miracle that I had the skilled expertise of Dr. Larsen to treat me.
Great bunch of professionals!!!!!!!
Doctor Larson is an unbelievably kind, knowledgeable, professional and caring human being. I honestly can’t imagine what my cancer journey would be like without him. His support and caring have made all the difference in the world to me. I am so very grateful for him!
One of the best doctors I have ever visited…. Was relentless in helping build my care action plan. Absolutely THRILLED with his efforts, knowledge, kindness, and intelligence. Try to get him if u can!!!
Just the best. He understands the human condition as well as the blood and body.
Dr. Tim Larson has been/is outstanding!
Dr. Larson visited my father in the hospital in April 2021, as my 95-year-old father had been a patient of his clinic for 10 years since bypass surgery. My father visits that clinic several times a year for follow-ups. Instead of checking on my father's cardiac heath, Larson proceed to tell both us there was nothing he could do to help, and admonished us for calling him in. He said this at least 3 times before even examining my father who had had a heart attack a day earlier. We were not asking for an intervention. We were following up his long-term cardiac caregivers after a heart attack. Larson's treatment of my father was so cold, uncaring, and transactional, I had to end the consultation. We have worked with amazing and compassionate cardiologists in Olympia. My closest friends are neurosurgeons and oncologists who are compassionate and caring practitioners. At a time of great need and fear, Dr. Larson basically told us that we were on our own.
I have found Dr. Larson to be very kind and understanding. He has taken the time to explain and re--explain when my husband and I are unsure of things that are happening. His staff has been excellent to work with also. When you are facing cancer it is so wonderful to feel everyone is in your corner with you. Having confidence in your doctor and his staff sure helps to keep your spirits up!
Best oncologist and practice out there, period. Massively professional and deeply informed, yet still able to provide the one-on-one patient care I had no idea I would need in these deeply personal, frankly scary, medical scenarios. A huge relief to know that you’re in such capable hands when your life literally depends on it. Can stay a step ahead of even the most complicated case. I thought I might have to go to the Mayo Clinic to receive this level of care; but I’m fortunate to know a lot of medical professionals, and they all pointed me to Mn Oncology. (I like to go to where doctors send their own families when they need medical attention). Dr Larson and his entire team surpassed and continue to surpass my hopes and expectations. Let’s face it, if you’re looking for an oncologist/hematologist, you can probably ill afford to make a lot of mistakes when choosing your care team. I never write reviews, but feel super comfortable recommending Dr Larson and the entire Mn oncology team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
