First impressions were not great as check in was pretty much efficient but not overly friendly. . A loud discussion was happening when I was waiting which should have been done in private. The assistant walking me thru the tests was kind. Dr Stewart was very pleasant to meet and gave the impression of someone very knowledgeable about the issue I am having. However, I did have a few questions after I left. The person who called to set a surgery date appeared annoyed with my mentioning I had questions. And i have received no responses thru the portal. It left me a little uncomfortable about choosing MEC -Woodbury location for my surgery. I have people who have had some fantastic results from MEC. So I wouldnt discourage others from trying MEC. My experience just wasn't 5 star.

Doctor Gill was outstanding!She gave me the most thorough work up that I have had in a long time.Her analysis of my problem. Was spot on and I felt great relief after having seen her. If I lived closer. I would make her my full-time optometrist. Thank you for having her on call.

Very happy with my appointment today with Dr. Awad he answered my questions better/clearer than my other eye Doctors I’ve been to see this last year. I had Cataracts surgery going on 2 years now and have had a hard time with my right eye Dr. Awad explained why I’ve been having trouble excepting the fact that my right eye is as good as its going to get vision wise. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to share my experience and my thoughts. Curtis Mark Siemers
